my plants r falling over help.

4 of my started plants fell over. the tops are getting to heavy stems their like five inches tall. their about a week in.is their anything i can do

Do you have pics? Also what is your setup. Be as detailed as possible and we can help more.

Kind of lights and how many and lumen rating if possible

Soil your using

and nutrients your hopefully not using this early unless theirs no nutes in soil

watering schedule

age of babies

You can stake them. You might try a fan on your plants to promote stronger stems.

Usually the problem is you need more light but also if you are growing in soil, you can add more soil to help strengthen the stem. That is what you can do unless you are having nute defiencienties as mentioned above.

sounds like yourlight is to far away or not enogh lighting. get a stick and tie to that. pics would help. good luck

ok ill take pic i put them outside today because is was nice out let them get reall sun i plan to grow them outdoors im just gonna bring them in when it gets dark

are you putting them under lights at night.

Just be careful putting them in direct sunlight, if you have weak lights on them now and put them it direct sunlight you will probably kill them with too much light.

yeah i got it on a 18-6 light cycle i dont if im better of not to use a light in side just put them out in the morning and take them in at night

ohh yeah its a shittylight i use in side one of those under cabinet lights i dont feel like buying one cause im gonna plant them outside ina few weeks

not good thats a halogen light. nothing good in that light for a plant. when you go to transplant out doors just put it in the ground a littele deeper.

lmao!! i have two of those but i put them by the bottom of the plants for the lower leaves the new branches seem to love it....i also have a 4 foot fluresent on the top. i was at wallmart the other day and saw 2ft cool light bulbs but idk if it would work cause the bulb seemed a little fatter then the grow light that came with the ficture.

oh and to add the 2ft bulbs were ten fucken dollar each..i can get 2 4ft bulbs for 5 bucks or less idk what up with that though lol

if they are getting top heavy and falling ver chances are its because the plants are stretching for more light. how long haa it been since they've sprouted? how far away is your light? what light setup are you using? as long as you didnt break the stems they are still able to be rebirthed! use toothpicks or a few small sticks, stick 3 in the dirt around your plants and run a piece of wire or string or even a twist tie and wrap it around the sticks/toothpicks so that the plants have some source of support... run a fan in the room 24/7 eventually the plants stem will regain strength and be able to stand up on its own!

ok i dug out arounf them and coiled them around the the cup and packed dirt on top on making the stem aboit 1-2 inches i killed to. now i only have 8 plants

stick a stick down in the soil and take a paper clip and make it in2 the shape off a triangle and put it around the top of your plant and stick it works everytime for me
