I had the opposite actually, my girl never seemed to need water a lot and I live in a hot place. When I pulled her out of the ground it had beautiful white roots which went very deep into the ground. So idk manPoor root system?
I haven’t watered in a few days I’m hoping it’s just slowed , I see no signs of stressI was thinking his was an inside grow. Roots could be getting rot. My girls start requiring less water more towards week 7ish. Needs to stop watering and do a little investigation.
And in addition? What is the medium? Is the plant growing? How long has it been in that pot? What size was it if you transplanted it into the 20 gallon and how long ago did you do it? Was the transplant done smoothly with limited trauma to the seedling?
That's probably your answer. Most people grow in 3-7 gallon pots that need watering every 3 days or so. 20 gallon going to hold more water and evaporate slower. It’s just finished stretching about a week ago , it was transplanted from a 13 gallon to a 20 gallon about the 3rd week of veg. It had another plant in at one time but there were space issues and she got root bound , vegged 4 more weeks after transplant. She pretty much grew over night and flourished . I just noticed water intake is slowed . I did do some trimming in the third week to allow air flow and catch lower bud zones . Purhapes this slowed it down?
And yes the transplant went smooth low light when transplanted and didn’t have to disturb roots , gently loosened and never seen the first fan leaf droop . That was more than 6 weeks ago .And in addition? What is the medium?
Isn't soil specific enough for you?And in addition? What is the medium?
Explains my humidity getting harder to control. I was thinking. They took more water during flower cycle .That's probably your answer. Most people grow in 3-7 gallon pots that need watering every 3 days or so. 20 gallon going to hold more water and evaporate slower.
Actually considering soil density , drainage and nute , ph and ppm retention. But cool. Carry on.And yes the transplant went smooth low light when transplanted and didn’t have to disturb roots , gently loosened and never seen the first fan leaf droop . That was more than 6 weeks ago .
Dirt is not dirt. LMAO.Isn't soil specific enough for you?
