My plants are getting too tall!

Hello fellow growers! I have a quick question. My plants have been flowering for 10 days and they are growing like crazy! I have been keeping my 430 watt HPS light about 6 inches above them the whole time. I have to keep raising the light daily and I am almost out of room! I have cut the legs off the table that they are growing on already and I do not have much room left. They are growing great(nice and bushy) but pretty soon they will be touching the light and I have no room to raise it any more. They haven't started to bud quite yet so I was wondering if topping them would hurt them and possibly slow down the growth. I would really appreciate any input that anyone may have. Thanks!

I definately wouldnt top them now.. When u top them it stresses them and therefore they must spend longer in Veg to stabilise b4 flower.. That may just turn ur plants Hermi.
Try a product called 'Rock Juice' it stops ur plants growing upwards almost instantly and just re-routes the vitamins to the bud sites. Normally used in weeks 3-6 of flower, it can be used @ anytime 4 a short period to control plant height.
Good Luck, Hope this helps.

Thanks everyone! Those are some great ideas! I will attempt to tie them down and if that doesn't work I will try the hormones. I would hate to see them get burned by the light!

Try a search on Low Stress Training to open ur plants up to more light and keep the tops away from that nasty heat.

They look really healthy. I would do some LST on them. Also if u want like 8-15 main colas on a plant start them on LST when they are only weeks old you will not be diappointed
