You will need to research this alot, because its pretty complicated if you want fast revegging. By reveging I mean, the stage where your plant goes back to the veg cycle.

First thing to do is trim the roots, take the plant out of its container, and break all the soil away from the roots. Then cut the roots down, I would tell you how much but it depends on how much of your plant is still left. The roots are directly proportional to the plant above the ground. So you cant chop down most of the above growth, without matching that downsizing below ground? See what I mean?

So after you trim the roots down so that they are proportional to the size of the plant, transplant it into new soil, and water it with a transplant solution. You can pick these up at walmart. Also you might want to use a drop of Superthrive ( also at walmart ) in the solution. Give them a nice watering with this, and then just let time take over. After that just treat them as a normal plant. It will take some time for the plant to change back into the veg cycle, just be patient.

You could just not do any of this, and just leave it how it is, and water it when it needs it, and it would change back to the veg cycle, but I have heard it takes months to do. I have not heard any proof that, that after the plant revegs, and you flower it, it will produce a bigger yeild, but thats another debate. Either way if you only have one plant, and you liked the bud it produced, I would say take the time to do as I said.

Might want to go to GrowFaqs and read up a bit more, and maybe search some threads. Someone has a good reveg journal, that was really informative.

Best of luck to ya mate <3
