My plant (UK)

Just thought I would post a picture of my favorite plant.

Its an outdoor UK grow, totally natural... she's not big, but I'm trying to bush her up a bit, which is going nicely. We've had fuck all sun this year, and I started late, so not the best conditions.

she's looking healthy and strong, how much time do you figure before she buds? if shes got a month you could FIM the main head, the sides would bush right up and after 2 weeks it would start to grow up again. just throwing an idea down.

GL, and happy harvest!

*oh yea, i love that "all natural" styrofoam planter man.

Thanks Corbat :) She was a rescue victim. I was at work on a 14 hour day and it was only a seedling where it dried out. I cut the stem in some water to cut off the kink and replanted straight into the compost. It grew brilliantly once it caught back on.

Oh yeah, what does FIM mean? Its my second season growing, so not too well informed with the abbreviations  I do prune leaves here and there to let the light through to the new sprouts, and I turn it throughout the day so it gets even sunlight (the sun sits strangely in the sky, like off centre so its never directly over the plant) but apart from that, I don't tamper with it too much.

It also only ever gets rain water, our water here is far too chlorinated to be giving to them, i can even taste it when i drink the water :spew:

p.s Hah! The styrofoam (we call it polystyrene), it was all I had to hand. She was getting severely root bound and needed planting up there and then. As long as the polystyrene doesn't absorbed by the plant, I'm happy :D

FIM stands for Fuck I Missed, it was originally just sloppy topping but it turned out to be great for bushing plants up.

it does need time to recover tho, if not there can be some prighty random effects....

Ahhh right. I had an instance of that the other day. I had two leaves direct from the stem near the top which covered my whole face... they were huge! They were old leaves though, a much darker green to the rest, so i went to cut them and i took the two fresher leaves (bout 5 days old) off!

of course, I was stoned out my face doing it. So off they came, and then i thought i would take off the ones i originally intended to cut too.

Well, 4 days later, she's right back up there again, sprouting new shoots like mad from the top, as if nothing had happened. I mean it was only 4 leaves, but it looked so bare after. You can still see the top is a bit thin looking.

I'll have a look at that thread when I get a minute to myself. It would definitely be something for next season though, since I've tried my own tactics this year to see how they turn out (had a bad 1st season, but it was a learning curve).
