my plant stopped growing.

I have a beautiful white widow plant. It grew great in veg. Reached 5 feet tall. Then began flowering great, reached 5.5 feet tall. 2 weeks into flowering it stopped growing. It began to get yellow leaves so I added bloom once. It has not grown in 2 weeks now. I thought maybe I gave it too much nutes. So I flushed it twice last week. I'm growing in soil. Soil started wit MG but only for the start. Then transplanted it in a large pot. 14 inch pot. Used soil with no nutes in it. Gave nutes til I hit 7 weeks when I started flowering then stopped. I am using a 400w hps bulb. Temp is 76 to 80 during my 12 hr light cycle. it when off. I water with hp6 water. I flushed her twice last week. Once on Thurs with 5 gallons of ph6 water. Then again Sunday with 6 gallons of ph6 water. I got the yellowing to stop but she is not growing at all. Any ideas why it stopped growing folks?

Pictures please. It could have many reasons to show you zero growth. It also might still be growing in the buds. Pictures covering a few days or so. Something to show how it has or has not changed.

Ok i added several pics. the yellowing has gone from the leaves. Now all I get is brown spots and brown tips to start at the tip and work back down the lead killing it. and no girls at all since the 1st of this month

10 inch pot. I transplanted at 3weeks old. I didnt use MG when I transplanted it. I jsed dyna gro foliage and dyna gro bloom. I used foliage til i started flowering. Then when i hit two weeks in to flowing it started yellowibg. So i tried bloom on july 1st. I got worse so stopped bloom and waited. Then it kept getting worse so i flushded twice. Ihave used no nutes since july 1st

Was it just the tips of the oldest leafs or did new growth come out looking normal or yellow or dark green .....and you say there 5 feet tall in a 10 inch pot correct .......do you know how many gallons the pots are ?

SEVERE Nute burn, over watered from flush etc. You are taking it from one extreme to the next. Slow down...at this time it should be focusing on bud production and not growing/stretching anymore, but you are shocking it. Once it gets leveled out you will see some bud growth really happening

I use dyna gro, that exact combination, in hydro. Salts build up and water flushing alone only seems to do so much. This grow battled that issue and I am about day 35 since the light change. The battle started about week 2 or 3 of flower. I was simultaneously running some foliage pro and more bloom per instructions. In addition to the schedule being too strong (it goes to an ec of 2.3 or so), the plants were downright ornery. I introduced some ful-power, flushed things out, and things have come to a place I can take but am not thrilled with. Even at ec 1.2 or so, the plants are nearly over fertilized and I have been trying to drop it for a while without shorting the important flowering nutrients. My guess is that these salts that build up are not straight water soluble. Perhaps a dyna flush would help, they know what their stuff does. My last grow in soil did some of the same and I never really solved it. In the end, my lesson, and I love dyna gro for all types of applications, has been to take it easy. As long as I go light, I will not have problems. When I push their fertilizers, I am running unnecessary risks. Many would abandon dyna gro; I have not.

Yes all the old leaves turned yellow and died. No i didn't use a 10 inch pot with a 5.5 ft plant. I have in a 14 inch pot since 3 weeks old. I don't know gallons. I'll have to look later when I'm home. singer absolutely beautiful until I get two weeks into flowering. that was when I noticed it started yellowing.

so may I ask what is the lesson you learned in the end. I don't quite understand

Well, I slowed down the dyna gro to about half recommended. The ful-power works like a flushing agent for some classes of salts. So I rode it out and the plants recovered.

Assuming all that water flushed out some stuff, it undoubtedly does simply by flooding. Feed it low strength bloom nutes when it is dry again and ramp it up from there slowly and carefully. It is easy to overdo it with dyna gro. The bloom is nearly a complete food. So is foliage pro. There are people that run entire grows with foliage pro even through flower all the way. It seems they've gotten nice results.

Be cautious that it isn't a Cal mag issue this can mimic over fertilization also. With the "soil" you started with and the flushing you've been doing and what you've been adding.... Now think about where the plant is getting these from if you do not have any to start? Just an opinion.

I would say calcium ,,it tends to be the most common deficiency these type of plants see,,I use hydrated lime 1 tea spoon per gallon of water once a month ,,does the trick for me keeps my soil PH a perfect 6-7 and takes care of the calcium ,,I use milk as a source of calcium as well is a old school trick I have never owned or purchased cal mag,,either lime it or get a cal mag supplement ,,treat it,,go with the less is mor approach,,I often mix my feed weaker then it suggest,,and increase the amount slowly,,, ,,The first 2-3 weeks of flower,,, the plant will still take a bit of nitrogen,,,,, as it will do a bit of up right growing during this time,,I use a 7-5-5 in veg and a 3-10-10 in flower ,,when I start flower I give my normal veg nutrients,,for the first 2-3 weeks,,,, then start with my flowering nutrients,,,I mix it at half strength and each feeding it gets more until it can handle the full dose,,,,,,I personally would do hydrated lime at least once,,,I use 1 teaspoon per gallon of water this will ensure booth your soil and PH are a good ,,Lime will amend your soil and allow your plant to take up more nutrients that you are giving,,,it makes the soil better,, for the microbes and bacteria,,, that live in the soil thus improving it,,, the more they flurious the better the soil,,,,,Lock up or stunted growth may be a result of deficiency ,,it will often keep them from taking up the right nutrients even if they are present,,this will correct itself if you lime it,,,, I would then pull the effected leaf's off as they will not repair them selves,,and watch for any more signs over the next 2 weeks in new and old leaves ,,,,I will add Lime is not a nutrient but as with anything there can be to much of a good thing so ,,I would stick with the 1 tea spoon per gallon of water,,,I only do that once a month ,,,, also here is a link with a plant problems / deficiency's with pictures ,,will give you the cause and the correction needed,,cheers mate

almost forget if your plant needs Calcium it needs iron and manganese as well they go hand and hand,,they tend to become calcium deficient during rapid veg or flower growth tends to brings signs on is fairly normal,, would either add lime to my water regiment or a cal mag supp at least once a month to avoid the problem ,,,getting ready to cut my Sour Diesel down in the next few days I am in day 80 of flower ,,Sour diesel is a 70% sativa dominant strain and man can it eat,,I was really surprised how much they can take,,these are around 5 and 1/2 feet I put them in flower at 4 foot ,,got most of them trimmed up good still have 4 left to trim ,,few more days I will cut them down waiting on the tri comes to get just right
