my plant smells like....cat shit?

Today I decided to get down and take a big whiff of my new auto that is about 5 weeks old. The strain is unknown but I got it from lowlife (mixpack). Anyways when I was smelling it I actually did not enjoy how it smelled very much. Kind of reminded me of cat shit in cat litter lol. Is this normal for week to smell like shit?

I heard of plants and bud smelling like sweet dog shit so I say yes it is plausible.

haha i've had some that smelled more than questionable.. real funky, almost made me gag. the smell became a little sweeter after some time flowering, but out of context it still smells a little funky. kind of like if someone ran over a skunk on the freeway in the middle of summer. that doesn't sound good at all though huh.

lol ya mine may not be THAT bad, but pretty bad either way. Mine is like if you took garfield after a lasagna dish and let him do his thing then roll that around in cheap kitty litter and bam you have my plants 'odor' I am now calling it

funny every time I drive by a dead skunk my mind has associated it with good weed...

same here actually one day i went to visit my dad and there was a rabid skunk under his back porch i didnt notice at first but wen i walked through the back i was like dayyyyyyyyyyym wat you smokin on pops he was like look under the deck and thats wen i saw the skunk animal control took 2 long so i blasted him between the eyes with my pellet rifle

LOL, when in doubt. Find the pussy and phuck it up!

started it on fox farms about a week ago at 1/4 strength. I don't think the plant likes it at all though because the first set of 3 bladed leaves have turned yellow and are dieing as well as the first set of jagged leaves. I am going to try giving it straight water again and hopefully the problem does not get worse. I think Ill go pack a bong now...

good pot is the first thing to cross my mind when i smell a skunk too. hah. i've always liked really stinky weed, but not at the expense of what i had just ate. mp377t, you're sure it's the plant itself and not the soil? i've seen soil that had mildew or mold growing in/on it and it was really gross. it smelled real foul. any possibility it's that, or are you pretty sure it's the plant itself? and just out of curiousity, can you tell if it's strongest on any particular part of the plant? and what are you doing about the smell? lol
