My plant problem

Hello, I recently bought a weed tent and all nutrients and stuff. I germinated the seeds and planted them in my soil the root keeps growing but the seed head isn't falling off and the plant head isn't coming out? why is that? I have a normal house light-bulb on it for now and nothing has happened for about Four-Days it just keeps growing and growing while the plant heads inside the seed still.

your so fucked man... nah just take some tweezers and peal the shell open lightly ive had this problem before

happens somtimes...remove gently with tweezers..also helps to spray a lil water on it to soften it up...

yea just be careful that when u take it off with tweezers gently slide it off instead of grabbing it and pinching off the top of ur seedling

Thanks guys. I just done that ones like double the size of the other one I only done Two. Now I have done that will it start growing properly?

Not with normal incadesant light... either get a new light (cfl,mh, hps,hid and etc...) or put it outside even. Otherwise it will grow and grow. Tall, skinny and eventually fall over and die... the reflective material on the tent may help... go to lighting section of forum for that info joy¡

cfls are good and cheap for new growers i would start ur research there

I AM NOT GROWING IT FULLY WITH A NORMAL LIGHTBULB.
I just put a normal lightbulb on it because my 400watt will kill it at a young stage and burn it. When do I put my 400watt light on it?

when ever u have your first couple sets of true leaves.. You can actually veg under flouresents the entire time if u have some high quality ones.. but i wouldnt move em in there until they are about a foot, they could be put in before that im sure someone will say, just saying to be safe. u wanna make sure u have a developed root system to handle any stress and take in enough water and nutrients for the growth of a 400watt hid.. make sure you use MH for veg and HPS for flowering..

also i would recommend getting a T5 flouresent off of ebay for about $30-40.. or you can get a $30 T5 from lowes, although they are not quite as good as a T5 grow light from what i have noticed, but it would be a LOT better then a normal lightbulb..

this is also why u have stretching the plants are looking for the sun and that little light is like a flash light lol

mine went into my 400 watt tent just a tad smaller then this..

One of mine did the same thing while the other one got a head start with growing. I peeled it off with tweezers and now it's actually doing better than the one it didn't happen to. It will be fine.
