my plant needs a bigger pot i think can any 1 help plz

i have a plant its bout 2 -3 foot and its starting to bud i thinks its in a pot thats to small because i was just reading another thread and someone said that if the pots to small ur leavs will curl and the lower fan leaves go yellowish and fall off is this true and how would i be able to change pot ?? its a square pot about 1litre or 2 lol can i change pots when its budding or will this make it go into shock ?? wb asap plz

well is it ok for me to change the pot in the flowering stage ?? and its a square pot so might be hard how would i do it ??

i don't think i'd move it but if i did i would feed it a low rate of some bloom fertilizer (10-30-20) and move it a couple days later. let the soil get a little dry because it will contract and the roots will not be so soft.

cut the pot off if it won't slip out the top.

immediately water the transplant in the new pot/soil with bloom fertilizer also.

if its just startin to bud and you really think it should be moved then do it quick... the later you leave it the worse off the plant will be.. just try to use the same soil u were using before to reduce shock as much as possible... if u are just starting to grow it would be tough for u to grow a tree in a 2L pot... imho i would transplant sooner rather than later.. i transplanted one of my plants a couple weeks into flowering.. its doing great now.. lookin back i'm glad that i did transplant

thanks guys so i will let the soil dry out a bit then try slip it out if i dnt work i will cut the pot off a replant it , the soil i will use is the same but i dnt have any bloom fertilizer yet but i will get it asap

Did he ever post the size of his pot ? If he is budding the lower leaves will yellow and die eventually.

it doesn't matter, just make sure it has a higher P than N. 5-23-11, 10-59-2 whatever... oh, and use it at a LOW rate, like half or a quarter what it says to use.
