My plant is dying the first two days it was looking really good.
Day 3 (2).jpg
A day after that it fell over probably because I didn't water it. I watered it but it still isn't looking so good.

Is it going to die? If I keep watering it over time will it come back to life?

you have to keep the soil moist but that doesnt look like soil...looks more like cigar tobacco with wood chips mixed in. You need a good seedling mix or low fert soil for seedlings and like I said, you have to keep the soil moist at first until it gets its first couple leaves then you can let it dry out in between waterings. Start over with the proper soil IMO.

It just fell over and lost some of its color you can see it in the second picture but it doesn't really stand out.

Seedling are fragile, start from new & be more careful. A bigger pot with more growing medium would help too.

The soil is actually "Supersoil Potting Soil" I bought it at Home Depot

Hard to see, but I would agree I don't think that's the right soil, it looks dry too. As stated, get some good potting soil.

hey man i dont use potting soil to start a seed off in - use seed raising or cutting mix - it has less nutrients to burn and should be a finer and better composted mix of ingredients than those raw wood chips you got there ...

Jiffy starter mix is dirt cheap. Looks like beauty bark with nutes is what ya have.

Asphalt on a roof can reach a core temperature of 180F on a 90F day. It may not be that hot where you are, but it was probably too hot for the little seedling.

that shit looks like wood chip mulch bro. soil should be smooth and fine, with no chunks of anything recognizable as plant material, no wood chips, and definately no wood smell. it should smell like the dirt under your lawn, earthy and rich, not like a lumberyard. that potting sawdust is a death chamber for a seedling. try starting your seeds in rockwool, or coco fibre. those are both cheap as fuck, easy to use and hold plenty of water for seedlings to start healthy.

NEVER use "potting mix" even for an established plant, unless you are sure its got no wood chips, twigs, old roots or bark in it. all that shit has to be broken down by composting microbes (which your soil in a pot will lack) or it just ferments with wild bacterium and yeasts making tannic acid and poisons. i wouldnt use that shit in your pictures for anything but mulch around my carrots. home depot is the LAST PLACE to get your soil. Dirt from a nearby roadside would be better.

also, seedlings like warmth not heat. a single 24 watt CFL in a cupboard in your kitchen will raise a nice seedling to mature plant ready to go into flower all with no heat stress. set aside a small cupboard or cabinet with a single CFL bulb fixture for your seed propagation then put a shallow try in the bottom to keep water from spilling about. put a half inch bed of sand or perlite in the bottom of the pan, and dont let the water build up. on top of the perlite or sand use the following choices:

rockwool cubes on the bed of sand or perlite will grow the shit out of some seeds too. simply soak the cubes for an hour in tap water. soak your seeds in a cup of room temperature chlorine free water, in a warm dark place. check them several times a day to find the ones which have cracked open. any seed that has popped open at the pointy end is ready for planting. Select your rockwool cube for each cracked seed, and rinse with more tap water. to plant the cracked open seeds in prepared rockwool cubes, place the seeds with their dimpled end pointing up and the opened end pointing down, in the lil hole in the cube and pinch the top closed. keep the cubes damp and in a few days the seedling will pop up. once you see roots peeking out of the bottom of the cube plant the cube in your chosen growing medium.

or try try propagating seeds in a paper egg carton with smooth chunk free seed starter soil or coco fiber. keep them covered with 1/4 inch of soil, and maintain moisture. when seeds pop up you can snip the little egg cups free and plant them in soil or pots without uprooting your seedling. the paper cups will dissolve completely in a few weeks.

i use paper egg cartons for most of my garden seed starting, but the rockwool is my preference for my cannabis seeds.

Hey brother, everyone else gave you excellent advice, but i'm not sure anyone answered your question, I'm afraid the answer is more than likely yes, your plant is going to die, if it's not dead already, sorry.
