My plant is dying/dead!

There is something seriously fucked up about my setup, I posted it earlier and was told everything looked good but I'm guessing that I've made a retarded mistake because i'm getting nowhere with my first grow

This seedling is over 2 weeks old and has hardly grown at all, and now the leaves have gone yellow. Any ideas on what caused this? My temps are always between 25'C-30'C and the humidity is between 20%-30% and I've got a 65W CFL on the 2 seedlings 24/0 (they are autoflowers). I have 3x 120mm PC fans aimed at the plants/light and temps are stable. The only thing I haven't got measured is the PH value (I'm still waiting for the meter to arrive its taking fucking forever) but I'm using tap water, does this look like damage caused due to PH? Or possibly not watering enougth/too much? I'm not using nutes, just Canna Coco and pearlite.



I'm not too mad because these seeds where really cheap and I'm currently looking at building a grow cabinet with better airflow/lighting/etc so I'm not too devestated at the idea of having to start over.

Help appriciated!

^^. Looks like nute burn. You sure there are no nutrients in that soil?

How close was the bulb? Seedlings can't take the light being too close.

you must keep the soil moist during the seedling stage. If it dries up and you don't notice in time it will die very fast..which is what is happening to your seedling. After it has a few leaves on it to store water you can start putting it on a regular watering cycle

I agreee with jpockets....and make sure your first 2 weeks theres no nutes in soil,or you get what you see above,autos are sensative to nutes in my attemps ..good luck to ya.

sorry then..but if you can controll humidity rais it ,during seedling stage and through grow stage you can keep it high.What does your soil consist of?

The only real thing that looks iffy to me is the soil, also your not fertilizing it right now are you? you dont need to do that until the 3rd week in unless your soil doesn't have any nutrients but in that case its very bad soil, and if you have it on a 24 hour light cycle definitely keep the lights at least 4 inches from the plant and water that bitch often! ;D

Still looking for light info. how many, what size, how far from the top of the plant?

Thanks! I'm gonna go with "not watering enougth" - the top of the soil gets bone dry very quickly, but about 1cm under the surface the soil feels moist - should I really be flooding the peat pots once a day to keep it really wet? The humidity is quite low in the cupboard.

Oh, and do yourself a favor for future attempts: don't use peat pots, even for photo period strains. They tend to wick moisture from the soil and then dry out. For autos, you really should just go ahead and start in your final pot (which shouldn't be peat!).

How close is quite close? Your seedling(s) look worse than mine did when I burned them up with lights being too close (2").

No hate man, but maybe take a look at other replies before you post as everything you have said has already been said.

The soil in that pot looked dry as hell to me looks like it needed water.
