my thai S-Skunk is doing very well except it has gotten a little bit too tall and the light isnt too strong at the top cola. Can I cut off the top 2-4 nodes of the plant? there is like 5 weks left of flowering and all the lower buds have lots of light and are much larger than the top area I want to cut off, or will this stress the plant too much?

holy shit your plants r not happy. Can you bend it. It will continue to strech because of weak lighting. Looks over fed as well. Great luck

It hasnt really gotten any taller in the past 7-10 days suprisingly, and I havent fed much, the top was burnt a little because it grew into the lights before I changed my setup around. I dont really have room to bend it, you can see it was bent for some time but my other plants got larger and bending this one takes light away from the others so I had to release it. Im not sure weather to top it this late or just let it be

I dunno topping this late into flowering might significantly decrease your end yield.

...But so will lack of light. :hump:

I am not the exepert on this experience but since the main cola has grown past the light it's not getting any light only indirect light? How is that going to work? I'd say you gotta tie down below the light to finish that cola. topping no good...lost main bud...

sure is a straight 100% sativa strain as discussed by many. Is it on the normal chop schedule timing by trichs? A long time...

she could easily be trained down with some twine.
you simply can't beat the top cola for quality.

yea I would bend it. you said it gets in the way of the other plants well then just bend it so that its to one side and not in the way it may be a little far from the light but it will stretch toward the light better than no light at all and way better than topping it and stressing the fuck out of it.

thanks for all the responses! Yeah Im def not going to top it Ill see if I can bend it some and have it stretch toward the light better like u said more4u2c.

Fried at 420, you really think Ill be ready to flush in 2 weeks? Im starting to see some decent crystal production but it seems like there is a lot of white hairs still Im on day 53 of flowering the breeder suggests 12-14 weeks.

tie her down and give her a couple more cfl's on clamp lites at least she isnt getting enuff lite....people have enuff of a hard time keeping sativas under the lite with great liting so if stretching its a pain in the shitter

well I gave her a 150W equivalent 2700K CFL and the top buds really have been exploding, in fact the whole plant has, even though it dropped a lot of leaves the buds are huge and I actually cut off 3 branches cuz I needed a lil smoke, each time I did it has gotten better, Im planning on giving her the last feeding tomorrow then flushing from there, hopefully its done within two weeks. has a nice fruity smell but it still looks like crap. Ill post a pic of the plant tonight
