My Pink Lady

Please take a look at my grow! I have 10, 40 wattt 2700 lumen CFL's in a cabinet. I used MG Orchid soil and for the last three weeks have been feeding them MG bloom boost once a week. I am using 3 gallon bag pots. They have been on 12/12 for roughly 6 weeks and flowering for 4. I just used some bag seed. This is my 3rd grow and I have been pleased with my previous harvests, this one has gone crazy better than the first two. On top of the benefit of smoking it, I very much enjoy the gardening aspect.

Anyway, you will see the one in the pics has hot pink hairs, hence the thread title. Does anyone know what this is? Smells great!!!!

I would appreciate any feedback. Would like to go full organic next grow.:leaf:

Pink Lady was the test name for TGA's Plush Berry strain that was recently released. the breeder subcool has a section on these forums under organics. with more info on pink lady and plush berry

I had a girl with pink pistols like that. Miss her dearly (someone stole her, can you believe that?). Mine was one of the most floral and fruity plants I've ever had the pleasure of smelling.

Good luck!

I had never seen pink hairs before this plant. Earlier on it was so pink some days I would just sit and stare at it.

I get the bulbs at lowes. I will dig up the specifics. The nice thing about the bulbs is they are half the size now that they were when I originally started buying them. I use splitters in them which I was not able to do with the larger size. I was able to install twice as many bulbs for this grow.

Thanks for the feedback.

4 plants. I bought 2 utility light hoods at Lowes($9 each) and split those. Then I have an old bathroom vanity light that has three bulbs so I split those. I rigged it all level in the top of the cabinet.

I'm new to this CFL thing so im trying to figure out how im gunna build my box... right now i just got a plant sitting in my closet with lights hanging near them, but theres not alot of reflection and I think my baby would like to have a little house of her own... planning on running 2-4 little hempy buckets i made... trying to figure out how many light I need

I really don't knoe i found it on my computer didn't even know where it came from... but we can say she is if it makes you happy...

Hey man, next time you take some pics can you show us a picture or two of your light setup? Just wanted to compare. +sub for the Pink hairs.....I need to figure out how to get a hold of some seeds!

Okay, so here is my setup. Just some background, I had some bag seed and started growing some in a paper towel box from sams. Anyway, it got too big so I threw this together one day. I built a simple frame out of 1*2s and then stapled poster board for the side walls. The bottom is built with 2*4s and the base is peg board. My original intention was to build in a computer fan that pushed air up through the peg board but I got lazy. So I just funnel fresh air through the hole in the bottom left. Then I do all my maintenance through that little door which can be tight. I used magnetic tape to keep the door shut. You will see the two utility lights in the back and then the vanity light is in the front. I have a tin sheet on top but leave it elevated for air flow. The blanket was from this winter when it was really cold here and i would cover it at night. It never gets really hot and while I eventually will get a thermometer I just kind of feel it out now which has gotten me this far. I was thinking about stripping the walls for the next grow and replacing it with the super thin insulation board from lowes and then building in said fan. I need a better light setup as what I have is bulky to move. Total cost with bulbs is probably $75. Kind of ghetto but perfect for my sustainability.:leaf:
