My Ph from the tap

I have very clean well water. My ph is a steady 5.5-6 out of the tap. It grows tomatoes very well. But should i try to raise it closer to 6.0-6.5? Or is this okay?

If running soil grows , i would at least be close to or match the ph if that medium. Most soils ( bagged ) run 6.3 - 6.5 ( ish ).
Im doing my first indoor grow out of 35 years of growing/gardening. Im using coco/perlite blend. I have sprouted some regular seeds i got from a buddy and running a test. im not really over the top caring for it, but water and feed when i feed my tomatoes. its very healthy but seems to be growing a little slow. Its in plain potting soil with no nutes. It gets fed when my tomatoes are fed. But no yellowing and very bright green its just not jumping up like it should

I have seen a journal, he runs coco and uses 5.5 the whole grow, it looked good and was encouraging people to try it. I'm with diggs99 though and i stick with 5.8 to 6.2
