Alright its about the 4th week now and i just got back from my spot, all 4 are looking alright, mango is 3 weeks about 10 inches and a little nutrient burned or something and the church is about 12 or so inches and a month old, both are topped. Just got my Super Lemon Haze and a free seed from the Attitude, they are both sativa's hope i can get some good weight off of em. Heres a pic of the church and Mango 01 june 24.jpgjune 24 mango02.jpg and i will post the YouTube video in just a min

Is there a name for the GDP x Purple Erkle clone or do they jus call it by the mother strains?

Pretty sure GDP is Purple Erkle X Big Bud, or something crossed with Purple erkle, so just has more of that gene i guess, hopefully i get some shades of purple. And yeah clones are really where its at always sure to have a great plant. My friend is a retard and acts like he knows everything about growing and like i don't know shit, and that bacteria don't have to feed off sugar and common sense shit like that. He was saying that seeds get way bigger than clones, is this true? i used to think this but then i saw some pictures of clones and were just as big as from seed. I would think after a certain point the plant really takes off and can easily be as big as plants from seed.

i believe so on the certain point and they jus take off but it also depends how they were treated by the cloner or grower, clones is the way to go IMO.The only true way to tell if your going to grow grapes or bam bam.Until I retire its clones all the way! WOOT WOOT!

p.s. your correct on the cross strains of GDP

Just got back from my grow site, not too much growth since last time but everything seems to be looking good. Like a moron I didn't take any pictures, but I made a video to view. I am trying a little cloning experiment with some lower branches i cut off the church. Anyone have luck with cloning the very first branches on the bottom of a plant? They seem like they will make good clones. I have them dipped in some B-1 rooting solution right now, I plan to stick them straight into some soil, not going to bother with any cloning gel. Here is the video, Happy growing everyone..

Went to my grow site yesterday plants are all lookin good. Just planted 2 more seedlings in 5 gallon buckets, Super Lemon Haze and motavation. I used straight compost in these buckets with some perlite. Last visit i Super cropped, Topped, and LSTed the Church, it is lookin real good and 100% of the plant is getting light, I really like this method, no need to chop all the lower branches off. Check the picture church top, SC, LST.jpg and video www.youtube.com/watch?v=SPfPP8UCaH8

Also I just went to Smart & Final and picked up a fat gallon of Molasses for 15 bucks.molasses.jpg

Go to a feed or farm supply store for molasses and you'll pay less than half that.

thats awesome thank you for the tip Madodah. If i remember correctly you were on the organics forum talking about flushing plants and you argued that plants should be flushed every time regardless if they are fed organic nutrients or not...? if so you are a wiseman, if not at least you know where to get cheap molasses from

Definitely a point to growing from seed. They grow faster, have more vigor, more resistance to disease and pests, the genetics are more preserved and they just yield better.

just read through your journal tho GC and Im high and scribed man :eyesmoke:
always nice to watch the work of other Northern Cal growers
