Invest in smart pots if you can man, fabric pots allow roots and soil to breathe, promoting air pruning. If you are strapped for cash, you could probably make a few from an old pair of jeans.

Or, look into making a hempy bucket, easy as fuck. Make any size, out of anything!! Gotta find that perlite though bro!

Your next grow is gonna be killer :)

3 gallon minimum I would say sir. If you can sit tight for a bit, I'm growing blueberry and northern lights in 3 gallon smart pots, and when I harvest I'll be documenting the root system development too, see if they've made full use of the space available or if I should go bigger and betterer!

Perlite is cheap as shit too. Get a big bag, if you're mixing with soil go between 30-50% perlite, the rest soil. Give you awesome drainage! Seriously consider a 100% perlite hydro grow though! Watch out for perlite dust, you'll be choking like a bitch! Try and get the chunky stuff if you can, and rinse that shit off before you use it. I didn't, but I'm a lazy shit and you should learn from my mistakes!

I'm so excited!!! I also cut up some hangars and used those as stakes and did some LST today. I'll probably keep it on all night till the AM. The bottom bud sights and everything are going to love the LEDS.

lol i was desperate to get soil and had no cash lmao. I used good soil in my tub with the 3 northern lights. I will be swapping soil when I transplant.
HMMM just curious about something...you have them all in one huge container with their root systems getting all tangled and such. Now you say you are going to transplant them into their own individual 5 gallon grow bags? Good Luck with that.

Yes mate.

All it is is a fabric sack, don't pay too much for them. Mine cost £1.70. I've seen diy ones made, and people using hessian bags for life from supermarkets and shit. Get creative. Don't conform!

Mine, if you're interested, are called Root Pouches.

5 packs are running $15 USD.

I got a card on Amazon. Some fox farm soil(2 bags) and perlite, smart pots, and it came out to about $80 plus I have prime.

Also gave my father in law all 4 of my Herbies freebie Afghani regular seeds. He is gunna take over those for me. I'd rather make the room for something else. Which will be some fem photo cookies by fast buds.

Also I have been PHing my water to 6.5. Should I leave ph the same the whole grow? It's annoying having those small random yellow spots on my leaves. Lol

I read on grow weed easy web site you should slide your ph around some because different nutrients absorb into the plant at different ph's. As long as you stay in the 6.0 to 7.0 ph range. At least in soil grows.
