11lb from 4k is a little more than 1gpw. In a 10x10 that would be around 60g per square foot. That would be pretty maxed out.

6lb from 4k is like .5gpw. In the same 10x10 it would be 26g per square foot.

11lb would be nothing but canopy in a 10x10. Scrog and extended veg will get there put that is maxing out the space.

Thanks! These are great questions. Ones I should have asked myself before setting this room up.

I was worried about CO2 loss and the cost associated with filling my 50lb bottle. Now that I think about it, I wish I went with air cooled hoods. The money I would save on a/c probably would have made up the cost of filling my bottle plus more.

The celling is hemlock that came from a single diseased tree that was on my property. Because it was diseased, it has a really unique look to it thats irreplaceable. I didn't want to ruin the celling with light movers.

Honestly, I took advice from a old school grower that I shouldn't have. He swore by these shades and had great results. If I could go back I would go with a different shade all together. Definitely something thats horizontal. I'm going to switch my shades after this round. The take up too much head space and make hot spots. Could you recommend anything?

On average I did 6lbs. Personally I consider 6lbs from a 4k room to be average. Some people say this is way below average and I should be doing more like 11lbs.
Whats your plan for branch support?

I'd go with the 8" raptor a/c hood. Things a beast. They're are also cheaper versions, I have the dominator xxl 8" hood. If your room is sealed you could still run a fan>>>>hood and also run co2

Also don't 2nd guess your setup so quick . Looks great and very dialed in to me. People swear by doing vertical grows with or without the umbrellas hood. Seems like you're getting great results.

I normally just duct tape those bamboo sticks to my pots and use string or zip ties. Its not the best method but it works. I should have staked them back when I transplanted from my 3gals to 7 gals. theres always next time.

Yea, something similar to the raptor is what I'm looking at. Those raptors are expensive shades. When you say "fan>>>> hood" do you mean just cooling the lights with the air in the room similar to a carbon filter? Or do you mean something like outside<<<<<fan<<<<<hood<<<<<outside?
Also, thanks for the reassurance. I was torn apart in another forum because I was running vertical bulbs in parabolics.

I'v read 50-60g per square foot is what a expert grower can achieve in a perfectly dialled room. I'm not a expert and my room is not perfect so I don't expect to get that. I still think 26g per square foot isn't bad but not great. Average I would say. I cant imagine trying to scrog a grow this large by myself. I wouldn't have the time.
