Had to go back and laugh at this one more time If GM says it, it must be trueGM has said its average hourly worker earns around $90,000 in wages, overtime and profit sharing.
you have to figure in pension plans when you arent' working to be accurate. did you see that even GM says their workers make almost 70/hour if you figure in ALL costs? You said the average pay was 90,000 just slightly inflated considering 85% don’t make that.
me too. i'm laughing.Had to go back and laugh at this one more time If GM says it, it must be true
Yes we should leave it up the businesses making millions in profits to decide what’s a fair wage for workers. What could possible go wrong there?you have to figure in pension plans when you arent' working to be accurate. did you see that even GM says their workers make almost 70/hour if you figure in ALL costs?
i am pro and anti union at the same time. it protects the workers yet is completely anti capitalism at the same time
Peace brother.i'm out. taxi service (non union) to my daughters school . no benefits. no retirement plan. not in a GM either. lol.
i think our views aren't that different. it's a slippery slope though with wages. i agree that our minimum wage here is a joke. but you can't unionize every job in the US either.Yes we should leave it up the businesses making millions in profits to decide what’s a fair wage for workers. Here’s where I must not have done a good job of making my point. My point is I think people should have the opportunity to choose to be union or not. Just like I support people who want to buy from China. Freedom of choice on these issues is my stance.i think our views aren't that different. it's a slippery slope though with wages. i agree that our minimum wage here is a joke. but you can't unionize every job in the US either.
look at towns where union jobs have vanished. the whole town suffers. guys that are cashing their paychecks and hitting the local watering hole blowing a 100 bucks on drinks on friday nite and then taking the family out to eat on Sat nite can no longer afford to do that on their new salaries. that affects the whole community.
and then you have waiters/waitresses that make like 4 bucks an hour plus tips when those same people in Europe are paid a living wage and call that job a career.
damned if you do, damned if you don't.
well then, 3 pages of back and forth and we are on the same page. lol. i guess my main point was that i would like to see union wages drop and minimum wage go up and meet somewhere in the middle where everybody gets a livable wage. not so simple though. Here’s where I must not have done a good job of making my point. Making everything in America just isn’t possible.

Closed mouths don’t get fed. If Amazon workers went on strike and shut that place down, in less than a week they would have what they want.well then, 3 pages of back and forth and we are on the same page. lol. i guess my main point was that i would like to see union wages drop and minimum wage go up and meet somewhere in the middle where everybody gets a livable wage. not so simple though.
It's quite obvious we have opposing views on the subject. Neither one of us will change the others mind so continuing to go back and forth is fruitless.back to my original post. seems like it was spot-on. guess my math wasn't too far off this morning.
and that's why mfg jobs will never come back to the US like the 1960s.
right @twentyeight.threefive ??
I forgot when I did open up the light and look, it looks like the "spike" must have burned up the clips that hold the +/- wires to the board, small spring waggo type, but cheaper. I can glue the wires in, or flip connectors and the 2 should work.Sound like the leds and driver still work. Check the wiring isnt burnt out somewere. Couldn't you use the driver as a dimmer, most have a little screw somewere on them wich is to adjust power. If you can lower the power via driver then you should still be able to use the rest of the bars just at a lower wattage, im guessing at 80% power minus the two bars. You could then just send back the two wonky bars
That would be anti-RepublicanClosed mouths don’t get fed. If Amazon workers went on strike and shut that place down, in less than a week they would have what they want.
Power in numbers and coming together. Skill trades don’t make too much money. Not from any that I know of. That’s the only spot I disagree. But let’s hug it out anyway.
imagine how strong the United States would be if we all came together. Scary thought
