A few weeks back I knocked over one of my girls and nearly snapped her off at the soil - ripping the roots - and ever since she hasn't been the same. At least we were smart enough to take clones.

More on cloning in my journal later today, if I can find the time. As it turns out taking clones in flower is a mistake, as the stress of flowering strips a piece of the genetics away. :twisted: From here out I'm only taking clones in veg.

sounds good discovered a few males today the unbroken widow was one of them... i also noticed that the males grow fucking fast lol and since my other females are small l i was thinking wether or not to just separate them... they are all seed bank seeds and i only have about16 seeds left half widow and caramelicious... i can use the seeds next year for an earlier start.. sux thatll have to smoke some seedy weed. ill just take 2 more fems to the bush to plant and the few i have in my somewhat indoor op ill seed...
fuk lol at least ill get some hash out of it. any suggestions guys?

Man you have had some shitty luck this past week. I hope it means that your troubles are behing and the rest of the grow is good for you. At least you have good seeds for an early start next grow.

i've noticed that when it rains, it pours.. but then things turn around for the better... i've had an amazing string of bad luck myself.. but its in the past.. hope things turn around for you!!

my bad everyone! i just been gettin ready to plant them all outside and was waiting to take pics till then. the females are still short and bushy just now started signs of flowering, fuck about time lol... the males are fucking giants bastards i hate how they steal one of my lights.. but sorry for delay was down in the states for some appts! ill keep u all updated

Glad to hear your luck is changing.

I was able to chose 4 (100%) females from 20 seeds just by going by what you're talking about. The short stocky ones are almost always females, while the spindly ones are usually males. Before feminized seed was available, this is how we used to weed 'em out (no pun intended.

Can't wait to see the new pics:leaf:
