well how are you going to grow?
Come on this is a broad question, soil or hydro, CFLs or MH/HPS, what kinda nutes ect

Nearly 400 dollars for a lumatek... Ballast only.... I'd tell them where to shove it. They did seem to have decent pricing on floros and accessories (hygrometers and other small shit) but overall I wouldn't send them 1/2 what they're askin on most stuff. Just my .02

im pretty new to the grow scene but as far as my set up goes...im using CFL's and using the Fox Farm "Ocean Forest" medium...im not to sure how well it will turn out but we will see....i have just been reading up on everyones input on this forum getting myself some ideas as well as using some other sites for grow procedures and tips.

well right now im running 3 fluorescent bulbs and wasnt sure if it was a bad thing to switch the light source when the plant is 3 weeks....im assuming it better to change it now before it gets any bigger if i should even change at all

It is absolutely fine to change the light source at anytime during the plants life as long as it is a change for the better. If you upgrade make sure to take the temp change into account, the higher wattage lights do pump out some heat

ok with that said...im going out right now to go get myself a 400w hid set up most likely a hps

Yeah whatever, CFL suck you you arent creative and dont get them close enough.

HPS is better but it depends on your needs.
T5s are ok but are costly
Iw wouldnt bother
no cheap fixtures either

I never said CFLs were better or as good as HPS, but they aren't worthless either.
Im getting HPS this week myself, but some situations you cant use HPS (not in mine).
Add CFLs to your HPS grow and get more, Im gonna use all mine to go for side coverage, and places the hps cant reach to.
