I know, i one time got a bag of weed that was so wet you could squeeze it and a little water would ooze out. Like WTF!?
lol anyway i have done again some reconstruction to my setup. DIY is the way to go and thats what i did with making my own reflector for my florescents. You would be suprised what all popsicle sticks and hotglue can do. Its easy to construct and is quite strong if done properly. I know its got tinfoil but i was told that it only creates hotspots for HIDs. The first sign of it burning my plant i'll just paint the tinfoil white. Thinking of doing it anyway because it does make it warmer which is what im fighting with on the upper part of my plant while it seems to stay cool at the bottom! Fustrating as fuck.
Well, if you want my opinion... I personally think you did a bad ass job here. I especially was impressed with your enginuity.. with the making of the frame for your CFL reflector. You did an excellent job on the frame.. and like I said before.. excellent thinking bro. Nice job man.. Your girls are looking lovely as well.
What strain are the ladies?
I too use CFL bulbs for my growing. I use to use HPS/MH lights... but I had a few issues with those lights. One being the heat that they put out... second would be the cost of running the lights. I mean yeah, they have their 'pro`s' and 'cons'.
Just like us.. who rather use CFL bulbs for growing. CFL bulbs also have their own drawbacks.. but they also have positive things about them too.
Each to their own eh? why it's a free world after all!
hehehe.. I love America. If we could just legalize marijuana.. we'd be alright for sure.
Ya dig?
So you can't get the top part of your plants to stay cool enough eh? May I suggest something for to maybe consider trying? If the top upper parts of your plants are getting WAY warmer than the bottom part of your plants.. I would build a rack system.. mount the rack to your ceiling.. then go to wal-mart or something.. and buy yourself about 6 medium sized fans. Fabricate a mounting system so you can attach the fans evenly out up on the rack system you built. Use your imagination bro.
Peace bro
