My Lil Plants are Dying and Turning Yellow

Ok so I started germernating 5 days ago 2 days in it I had vary long roots so I put them in a rockwool cube 1x1. 2 days later it grow longger but it seemed like it was just puching up with the roots. So I think this is where I F up at but I put the 1 inch cubes in a 3 in cubes and put them in my system but now they all droped dead and turned yellow I kno my ph is fine and my drain system is fine. I haven't put any type of food am thinking they r to young. Can anyone help me with this.

Its my understanding you wait until root shows through the bottom of the rockwool cube before transplanting into anything else. I used rockwool to germ mine, once the root showed through I popped them in the clay pebble pots and began feeding water, also used canna start for what its worth, it helps develop good root system early on. As long as the seedlings still receive water I would expect them to survive.

The longer the roots the better? Are you referring to stem, ie they are tall and lanky - if so this is most likely down to light intensity (needs to be stronger).

So yeah dude if they're drooping I would expect under or over watering... were they ok before transplanting?

Well i've never tried hydro, but cubes don't contain any nutrient, maybe that's the case?

Yah I think I jumped the gun doing the transplant before the roots settle in the first cube. But the stem seems to week to be that long so I thought if I put in the bigger cubes and put in my system with a stick for suppor. But the leafs r still yellow.

All 4 where good before the first transplant. Then they droped.

Some of them will make it, but not all unfortunately.
I used to germ in rockwool but quit after a while cause of these kind of shit happening once in a while.

You can easily overwater without even knowing, this stuff retains water for quite some time.

As for the stretch, might it be cause of your lights being too high?
I'd say germ and place directly in the size suitable for your setup, no need to experiment.

Also where do you keep the seedling you germinate in rockwool?
You got a propagator?

I used papper ontop of papper ontop of my comcast box and some plastic around that to gem it worked great grew about 5 inch in 2 days.that's when I put it in the rockwool. Then it shot up more it looked like it was all root. Cuz it was vary thin and white. That's why I said fuck it put it in the 3 inch cube and set it up in a dwc more just for surport. Just put it under some light been on for bout 6 hours. Its looking kinda better.

You might wanna wait till roots are long enough before moving em in your system, if not, i guess all the moisture/water is hard on undeveloped roots, eventually drowning seedling.
That's some good news, happy to hear they're getting better. I just woke up and found out i lost a seedling germed in rockwool too.

Do you think you can propagate/root better using an aerocloner? It's perfect for aeroponics, i guess it suits your setup

Yah I think am lost one too. I tryed placein puting it the cube befor it even cracked and it still won't open. I'll be happy if at less one can make it throu its baby stage so I can fire up the ballist

What's your lighting like?
You might wanna use floros for a foul week, or even more till, they get stronger for HID

Yah I hope. that lil one in the pick just went throu a lot of trama. I had to crack open the cube and place the roots better in the cube it was all hangging out .

A 400 wat got a hps and a mh balb but no flow balbs or set up so I put 2000 lums balb in the middle of my set up for now.

Yeah no prob just make sure you keep some distance, not too high or they'll stretch, no too close or they'll get burned

Don't worry you can crack open the cube, no big deal, just make sure not to damage the little new shoots of the roots you have to be very gentle.

MJ can handle much abuse and recover with little, if no consequences as long as you're taking good care of it.
