Ya, it's the type with a number of different spectrums. I accidentally overvegged my plants this time around which created two problems: some of the tops are less than a foot from the LED now (read so much about light bleaching, but no problems as of yet). Also, the canopy is REALLY thick, and tough for the light to penetrate. I got carried away training/topping. Should be interesting to see how the LED's work out for lower buds in his crowded mess of a garden I've got going

A quick update... here they are at 3.5 weeks. There is some yellowing and I hadn't fed them yet, so I just tried feeding them very lightly last night (180 PPM, was a quarter of the vendor recommended dose). The green parts are very green and healthy-looking, but the yellow is quite yellow however only seems to affect the lower leaves for the most part... I also raised the light up a little again just in case.

YA...they are looking OK...but not great. Getting bigger for sure.

What is the temperature at the leaves?

What is the humidity at?

How often are you watering? and what is the soil like before watering?

Keep the light feeding up...at least every second time for now i would say...depending on results...

Pretty steady around 22-23 degrees at 45% humidity every day. I might have been under-watering a little but was misting... I usually water if they start to look a little droopy. I didn't want to rot the roots... I am starting to think they'll need bigger pots very soon.

I think you should just go straight to the DWC buckets now...they are looking pretty stressed as it is...so it probably would make them happier. It would also mean less transplanting, less dirt, less pots,..

Under watering and feeding is by far better than overwatering...

If things don't work out then it's not a huge deal, your plants are already bigger than my "First" time...(at band camp)...when they all died...

I didn't have RIU back then...i'm sure your gonna have nice girls, you're in good hands.

I've got 250 PPM hydro grow nutes in the buckets. Moving in...

and getting settled (with air pump, fan etc) :

Two Himelayan Cream (sativa) and two China White (indica) remaining.

As for the room itself, there's pretty much only the door left to do!

Good to see everything is going well over there! I was wondering how high do you have your light above your canopy? When do you plan on switching to 12:12? My grow is pretty close to yours on schedule with my newest seedlings,

Thanks! My light is about a foot above the tallest plant. Unlike HD or others I worry about the different LEDs if they're too close as mentioned earlier in the thread - it might be fine for a plant under a white LED but the one that might end up right under the IR or UV LED could get cooked, at least in theory haha. As for when to switch, I've never been certain. I think you can whenever you want once you think they're just about big enough. I've also heard they get a lot bigger once you switch too, so I'll put up some netting soon to help hold them up, take a few cuttings for clones, and then switch to 12:12.

Here's an update - now that they've adjusted to the water with roughly 250-300 PPM grow nutrients, they've exploded! Happier than they've ever looked. The roots are most of the way down the buckets too.

I finally remembered to take a few pics in the dark before the light came on, so here are the best shots yet IMO thanks to my bounce-flash, aimed up at the ceiling:

For sure, expect them to double in size or more from 12/12 switch to end most of the rapid growth starts about a week after the lights are changed.

I think I should top them... any tips? I should also look to trim some fan leaves or only on the tops/clones? For the size of light I have I don't think letting them get too much bigger would be wise.

you should definitely trim off any leaves/growth that arent going to do much good. So any fan leaves or growth shoot near the bottom (looks like some of the bottom fan leaves are starting to go anyways) that arent getting light, you should just let em go. Maybe top the monster too, but if you do it'll just get bushier. Looks like you might already have a real-estate problem on your hands! (not a bad thing i dont think)

I agree. I did just that and made some clones in the little light-blocking bubble cloner bin inside the room. Also the door in on but not fully closing / light-blocking yet. I just switched the lights so we shall see how it turns out!
