Yeah, you're a really dick.

No bullshit though, my dad used to make me be out of the house on the weekends (or whenever I didn't have school), so I had to be dressed. Was only allowed to come inside for lunch or drinks, shit like that.

It depends on if you have an acceptable reason for her to be dressed. If ur just doing it cause you think that's how it should be then that's okay too. Some parents raise their children differently. That's just how I feel though

kids shouldnt have the opportunity to be lazy, or the choice to just sit around and do nothing all day.

thats lame as fuck.
but id have to say its better than the parents that buy there ten year old doughnuts and an xbox.
kids dont do there school work, dont interact with friends, or do any physical activity now a days because parents think its ok for them to sit on there ass and play video games all day.

its like the easy way out.. buy them an xbox and they leave you alone. or that world of warcraft shit. seen so many kids be useless cause of video games.

Shoot, I gave that fight up entirely. My daughter would actually wear her p.j.s to school, as did many of her friends. All I cared about were grades. She's grown now, I doubt she would be caught dead in her p.j.s now. With girls, it is best to pick your battles carefully.

Why all the hate for wearing pajamas at home? I've been rocking this Hello Kitty ensemble all day.

You're not being a hardass you're teaching her responsibility. She'll hate it now, she'll tell stories about it when she's grown, but she'll be better for it. On another note, a marijuana forum board is not a good place to seek parenting advice, as stoned people tend to say things they don't necessarily agree with when they're sober.

There's a difference between festering in bedclothes for days on end (like when she's off school) and just being cosy in her own home. It'll save you on laundry having her wear daytime clothes that aren't uniform every day, but if what she is wearing isn't clean (or she is not busying herself) then she should probably change if you ask her reasonably. I know I spend cosy days in my bunny suit as I work from home a lot and school hasn't started again; I have a lot of pyjamas and wash them regularly. Bear in mind though- having her get changed will encourage her to go outside if she's already dressed for it. I like to intentionally wake up and get showered extra early on a day I need to get a lot done.

Bear in mind, also, that she may take after your demonstration of spelling/grammar. I am not saying it to be mean, I am not perfect, but we're talking about raising a child, right? Not that I have any experience myself.
