As for brightness, the moon is interesting... (amateur astronomer talking now)... the first and third quarters (1/2 full) is only 8% of the brightness of the full moon! Have you looked into UVB and trichomes? That may be some type of correlation? Does the moon even emit UVB, i think it does?

Since moonlight is reflected sunlight, the answer is yes but far less than the Sun.

I have looked into UVB and trichome development. I think it warrants further research. I grow different strains all the time - but someone who grows the same strain via clones is in a perfect position to expose some to a reptile light to see the difference.

I'm tempted to try it - but won't know if it had any affect on them since i have no control group.

IF trichomes protect the plant ... that is the assumption. I think it is a pretty safe bet since other plants produce substances to ward off predators and protect itself in other ways.

The only part that made me cringe when he said something about "well everything is electromagnetic". While what he says is true at the molecular level, that word: electromagnetic is commonly used by scam artists to wow people into believing some pretty silly-ass shit. sorry for the digression.

Sorry guys i was gonna post some pics but our friends from NO decided to stay the night here b/c they gotta show tomorrow. Damn...i won't be able to see my plants for 2 days! AHHHHH.

So flowering stretching generally doubles or triples the plants right? I only ask b/c its only been 3 days of flowering and droopy has already doubled! Still can't tell sex of shorty or droopy....but i did find a single pistil poking out of a preflower!!!!! Sweetness is looking so full and beautiful!! After the craziness of the weekend i'll put up some more pics!

shit if you get a hag Im gonna start making some claims of paternity!!! Hell id deny my entire heritage for some of that!

as for the plants one of mine came close to doubling in height the other two may have grown up another 6" but not much more than that.

Damn, Droopy has doubled and so has sweetness....shorty has only grown like 2 inches? Oh well if its a chick i don't care how tall they are!

So i planned on taking pics and stuff but i'm still hungover from last night so i'm lazy......i will do it tomorrow though.

Quick update
Droopy: 26" tall no sex
Shorty: 14" tall no sex
Sweetness: 23" tall and is a GIRL!!!!!!!!! I found two pretty little pistils growing out of a preflower 15 min. ago!!!!!! I'M SO FUCKIN HAPPY!!!! and of all the plants she actually looks the best as well!

congrats man I sure know that feeling thought my biggest girl was a boy but turned to be a girl. That made me wana do a dance or something
