howard my man!! Yea i was just wondering on an educated gue$$ from reading here and what not, i heard the last few weeks they really put on weight, i think i got 4 more weeks to go and ill be ready. I def keep them watered, last week i missed 2 days and thats when the bubblegummer started turning some yellow on the leaves, but i think thats because they are close to being root'd or whatever (root bound). I've been mixing in water + molasses, twice a week, along with nutes and some regular good ol H2O.
You are going to have a nice yeild bro! I think you are going to be VERY happy with your output on this grow man! You better get some seedlings going now to replace these ladies! Maybe set up a small CFL room to get a 3-4 week jump on your next ones?

Yeah it is always a good idea to have some lined up to go in so you can put out more quicker. Nothing crazy just some CFL's to keep some seedlings alive. You can get at least a 3 week jump so that is worth the 4-5 CFL's and a fan! ;)

Hey bro it will hermie two different ways, you will get a bannana growing out of the buds, it looks like a yellow hair growing with a line down the center. Or it will have some bannanas down by the nodes or balls by the nodes. I know you have fem seeds so they tend to hermie with bananas vs pollen sacks. Good luck bro and give all your plants a good look over. If you see an open sack or banana then you need to flip a coin and decide weather to chop before they all go to seed or let them ride and have seeds in the bud. GL man

thanks homies

its not the bannana joint, i just saw a few balls (pollen saccs i think) when i was going through my plants the other day. I rip'd off a few and there was a small undeveloped seed in there, so i figured thats what had happened. I will try to get some pics but i got a few and they werent that good so i didnt want to post them. Im so damn close, i dont want to have to chop early but i guess i might have 2. The trichs are starting to turn color, aint got a microscope yet to checc everything out, but im getting some red hairs, which means they getting close right?

Yeah that sucks you found some sacks on there! :cuss: It seems that Hermies are becoming an epademic with fem seeds. If you stay on top of them you can keep them under control. If you saw an undeveloped seed in there you may want to cut one of the lower buds and take a look to see if there are seeds. If you see some more undeveloped seeds then you have to make the decision of either cutting her down early so maybe the seeds wont be that bad or just let it ride and pick out seeds later. It depends if you plan on selling it or just for personal. Don't worry about it to much bro hermies happen just learn from it and move on. I check my girls twice a day for sacks, and naners.

Thanks for the good CORRECT info 45King! Good to see people like you on RIU helping the new guys! Hopefully 6u66a will do the same once he is proficiant in growing. The King is right bro that is a swollen calyx. Like said if there isn't a seed you are fine. Finish them up bro and let them do their last few weeks of flower cus they push out weight and resin in the last stages of their life to try and get polenated so it is worth the wait. They can also push out bananas as a last effort to polenate themselves so keep an eye out for those, what you are looking for looks like a fat yellow hair popping out of the bud, it is similar to the hairs that are on your buds but it is light yellow and has a seam running down the center. If you get any of those just pluck them with tweezers. Even if you get them now the ladies are so close to finishing it wouldn't mess with them now. Oh and if I were you I would get a scope to check your trich's. Reading the plant by the hairs is a good indication but scoping the trich's is the best way to tell. Glad to hear that you had a fake Hermie scare. GL on the harvest and if it isn't too much trouble maybe a pic update in a few days? Get some closeups of the buds and maybe some node pic's so we can see if there are any problems? Later and GL my man.
