My how you've grown...

First grow. Loving the community and the process. So far so good. Humidity control has given me some issue during dark hours. During light cycle I maintain very good temp/rh.. super consistant. Gets up a bit when I close up the tent. I have a humidity controller on the way to bump my exhaust fan if the humidity gets high. Other than that, so far so good. This is a Blue Haze from I love growing marijuana. Christmas day I threw the seed in a cup of water for a 24 hour soak. 24 days later, here we are. Not sure if this is good, bad, or average growth for that time frame, but of my 3 plants they are all growing about the same.

3 gallon fabric pots
Fox farm ocean floor
LED lighting
Water ph to 6.25 (even in humidifier)
18/6 lighting
4x2x5 grow tent

your photo didn't post correctly. I had the same humidity issues when the lights were off. Using LED as well. Just curious which light you're using.

I see that. I'm trying to fix it. Never posted a pic here before.

My light is a Yehsense.. I tried to link it but apparently I dont qualify for sharing links. Wonder if that is the problem with the photo I tried to place as well

I don't think we're allowed post links as newbies for spam prevention. You'll have to post them here.

it looks like you're hot linking your image to imgur.com. You can upload images to here without restrictions using the upload a file button.

I looked at your light on Amazon. I'm pretty green myself so I don't have a lot to add. You're the first person I've seen posting about high humidity at night. I ended up adding a humidifier to my tent set to 50% around the clock and I'm catching about 200ml of water per day.

Good luck with your grow.

looks good to me. i just started a new grow im on day 8 from seed only though. im predicting my plants will be around that size in the same amount of days.

idk if this is true or what but i've watched a video on FFOF few days ago and idk if it's the owner of the company or just a garden supplier or what but they stated that FFOF contains NO microrhizae and NO beneficial bacteria. this is contained in their other soil line "Happy Frog" though. so i would look into adding microrhizae and maybe microbes via a supplement for better growth.

i mean they have to have some beneficial bacteria in em right? idk though. i mean that is if you want. i add it to mine i see a difference with microrhizae vs non but i just started adding microbes via a supplement to test how they will fare as the soil i use also doesn't contain these 2 from what the company as stated at least

I cant say what FFOF has or dont have

what i can say is these plants vegged for 40 days in FFOF without needing nutes, they must have something good in it lol

As for humidity , it will always rise once lights go out and temps drop.

either turn your exhaust fan up during lights off or get a dehumidifier if the numbers are truly too high.

what are your numbers?

I just turn my exhaust up and it evens out, as they get bigger in flower tho, i expect ill have to use dehumidifier to keep numbers in check.

60% all through veg
50% and dropping each week now that were in flower. trying to keep it lower while flowering, decrease chances of PM or mold

yea i don't think they do add beneficial bacteria to it or microrhizae. why? i've watched a bunch of videos on people teaching other growers about their products NON seem to claim those 2 things. both are key selling points to selling a product. they do claim it on the happy frog though even right on the package itself. i was watching a commercial on roots organic same thing. they talk about their different soil lines and soilless lines think it's mainly to cater to different growers needs.

for example you can grow in happy frog but it has less nutrients so you will have to feed sooner where as FFOF is hotter thus needs less feeding at the start. this gives people options to use their own products they feel are better and experiment with different lines and supplements instead of just being forced to use the companies supplements

idk that is just how i think of it. stuff is good though i am currently doing an experiment probably 1of 2 from my current grow on this theory. which is if i add microrhizae and bacteria via my own supplements to these types of soils if it would actually benefit more drastically or will i see similar results non the less. i've done the microrhizae experiment with roots organics and seen better root mass compared to older plants without it. now just trying it with beneficial bacteria added.

these are all just personal theories though i don't go too indepth on wtf is in my soil that im buying im not that hardcore yet.

Ill be interested to see your findings.

im so new to all of this, basically did a bunch of reading on which mediums to use for newbs, was pointed in the FFOF direction and so far its been a newbies dream soil for me.

Plants seem to love it , so ill keep using it and praising it lol

Do you have a journal going or any pics of your grow?

same im new myself and was pointed into FFOF and their nutrient line. i have to test it out again because my 1st grow went to shit so i can't really compare to that grow. my 2nd grow i used roots organic on my 3rd grow right now 8 days in. added microrhizae under the seeds before planting and just added bacteria via voodoo juice today so im giving it a few days going to experiment by adding it once every other week or every 2 weeks after the next feeding as recommended by the bottle.

i keep my grow journals/pics on my phone and on discord. our discord is fucking blown up with all my photo's and grow talk XD but after a while it gets deleted. i take photo's daily though but really don't have a grow journal other then that. used to keep one but because i got so much shit going on right now it's kinda hard to constantly be updating it.

but so far the microrhizae i add after potting up i don't use a water soluable version like recharge or myko's WP i use regular myko's only. bacteria im using is voodoo juice by AN but i mean so far plants are looking much better in growth for the stage they are in. my theory is that it won't really look like a massive improvement but some improvement in general not enough to really justify it is worth spending money on. i would do a controlled test but i don't want to risk losing yields this grow im trying to play it safe. if the 3rd node manages to pop out today when i come home from work that is a great sign. would be the first that has happened for me in just 9 days from seed. usually it happens around day 12

It was a seed on the 25, sprout on the 1st.. pic was from yesterday, so that is about 14 of growth. Your about 28. Be interesting to see where mine is at the 28 day mark. It's my first grow so who knows

Yours is impressive for sure. What strain?

Lst using garden ties
i top then 2 main stems come out then LST but then the tops get longer and longer so i eventually need to wrap it around the pot circling it otherwise it just goes crazy. idk how people manage to get it like that kinda like a blooming onion look only after it's gotten bushy though and i remove the ties does it look nice i removed it too early though
