Looks like it will work as a large cold frame/small green house for getting plants through the cold early spring without having to do it inside. I’ve been thinking of something similar for tomatoes and peppers.

Cool build
Well with the size of pots etc it does look like ur going to have some height issues. Those plants will fill that area fast, and then you'll have moisture issues if your airflow isn't on point.
I appreciate the advice I did top the plants once each but I can see there growing quickly since I've taken them outdoors how big do you think these plants are gonna get just curious they are ten gallon fabric pots

The whole picture with the green house on the roof was posted after I wrote my response. I agree with @Jjgrow420, unless they are autos they need more room outdoors. It seems to me there will be a bit of extra work being on the roof as well, maybe not an issue for some but I’m to lazy and old for all that.

I guess you have to climb up there to tend to the plants?
And you sure thats gonna be able to handle a storm?
Yes I hav a ladder it's not bad I enjoy it lol and they get good sunlight up there too all the morning sun that my fence blocks the frame is very strong I guarantee it hold up if a storm hits . I've noticed that whoever commented on on the height issue I did notice that they're not too far from the top right now so I'm really really thinking about I'm going to let him go a little bit longer right now and see what happens but I'm thinking about taking the top off eventually if they do start hitting the top...

And I appreciate the the comments and the help from you guys that know what you're doing I mean I'm not dumb to this stuff but sometimes it's good to have a few other eyes on the situation. I'm thinking that that is autoflower because some of these seeds are from last year and one of my plants last year started flowering really early too so I'm thinking it's an autoflower and with the one I asked if it was a female or a male I was pretty sure cuz I made seeds with some feminized pollen that I had from last year and this was a seed from one of them but I just got started getting nervous cuz I look like it was the beginning of a pollen check but I don't think it is but I'm hoping to God is female

Really? Well that's something to look forward to I've never had this much a head start on the growing season I'm pretty pumped
Your restrictions is too small of pots for long term veg
I would probably bend them all they way over and tie them down but not on a roof

So you think there gonna get too big for this? Am I gonna have to take the top off you think?
This is epic. I am not sure how to feel about this. I bet they get good sunlight and air flow but it just seems like one of them ideas that doesn’t end up materializing. In this case it did! I will be curious how u make out as u have a pile of sizable plants in there.
Do you still have the architectural drawings from the design phase? If so please post.

Haha yea I appreciate your interest lol I have a lot of free time between work and home life when I get an idea I'm usually full fledge till it manafest or materializes but really the build began from two planter boxes my dad built I basically made those into one and made a frame with some 2x4 and wrapped in plastic I'm just hoping I don't gotta take the top off and if I do I'm sure it won't come to that till flowering it was a fun idea for the year to try out I'll keep this posted till the final outcome
