My Grow

Howdy all, just wanted to share my grow.

The large tent is my flower tent (using 2 sunrise 2k leds) the other two smaller are veg tents, misc crud led but they get the job done.

Attempted a home cloner - still on the fence with that, getting a clone king next week.

Any comments and advice are welcome if I could be doing better!

Cheers, and happy growing.

Look into some Lst. (Low strees training) otherwise looking good.
Nods, I've gone back and forth with the low stress training, the monster cropping, and experimented and honestly, you know what I do? "I puts the seeds in the bucket" lol.

I'm a lazy grower, but super focused on it? If that makes sense.

I do use Fox Farms ocean soil and also liquid nutrients.

I've tried to be scientific about growing and have come to the conclusion that 1. I'm not a YouTube star, so really wtf go nuts, and 2. These plants are hard to kill. I mean, you really have to try to kill them.

lol you sound like me. I am a very lazy grower. I put seeds in pots and say "see ya in 2 weeks" come back, prune, leave for a couple of weeks, prune and flip. once stretch is over i put a cage around them, prune one last time and they go till chop. but i also grow in 25g orcanic no till pots. So they just get watered. Which is automated. I always found a screen over them was pretty lazy too.. just pull and keep them under till flip.

So - I've decided to flux my plants. Looked at Light Addicts post and it looks amazing. 20200420_162709.jpg
I think my husband is freaking out, we had a very "serious" conversation about yield and lights etc. It's so funny sometimes, all the questions, he's like "what about...?" LOL I'm like "guess we'll see :eyesmoke:"

A little nervous about the new adventure, but since I've figured out how to get a plant to grow, and had semi-decent yields, this is my next level attempt at maximizing my footprint and going for broke.

Decided to switch from led (sunrise 2000 watt) to this...

I've heard enough information to the credit of bud denseness and yield to give the old school a try. Honestly really excited to see how it goes.

Plan to use my led's in my veg tents, and see what happens.

Wish me luck  :peace:

Updated my veg tent, tried to switch out my flower tent led's (2k Sunraise grow light) and it ended up being way too hot. Had to put my 1200 watt cheap led back in there for now, added my t5 back in for the cloner / seedlings. Loving the clone king, I'm impatient though! They're only 5 days old but seem to be surviving. Used Clonex root gel, PhD water at 6.5-ish.

Planted some new genetics!!

Barneys seeds - Liberty Haze, Gorilla Zkittles.

Seedsmans - Strawberry, Banana, Grape

Garden of Green - Amnesia Lemon Pie

Female Seeds - AK47

Updated the flower tent with a 600watt hps single end bulb setup. Was going to add an additional 600watt light but because of power consumption (we live in an apartment and the power feed isn't as high to our unit as we'd like, but that's life eh?) Can only have one light. I still think I'm going to get (or hoping for) a better quality yield than with the led lights. Was running 2X 2000watt Sunraise grow lights, and looking at the light now vs. the led light, I am blown away. The hps is so much brighter and the light is retfracting in ways that are crazy. Will be adding a 4" infinity fan to update my pos 4" exhaust. Existing is 8" infinity intake fan.

Cheers, look forward to sharing the pics from these new ladies!

Switching gears, totally just like free-balling here.

Thought I'd try some fluxing - shout out @Silky_smooth - truly impressed with your work. You make it look effortless. But alas, it is not. ;) Trying my hand at a few of them, mainly going for a sog now I think.

Working on my temp/humidity in the veg tent, finally gotnit where its not too shabby. Now, if only I had a magic wand to make these ladies grow faster! ☮✌

Working on canopy control - gutted the flower tent.

Temps are holding at 84, the light has been pulled all the way up. Everyone seems happier. Its warm in there but not on fire.

Veg tent is clipping right along ☮✌

Get rid of that humidifier. Those things do nothing but pump out minerals from your water that will clog your carbon filter. These girls were both grown at ~25% humidity. They had domes for the first few days after sprout but since then they have not seen more than 30%.

You will get MUCH better yield from the 600w HPS. I do recommend getting a hortilux bulb. Air cooled hoods REALLY help with the heat too.

Just picked up a coue HLG 100v2's !! Hps I love the idea, tried it, too hot don't have the height to use it effectively. ☮✌
