Hey all growers and farmers.
I want to show you, how I managed to make a very silent and effective grow room I think.
Its my first grow inside this box.
The total cost would be something like:
Mars Hydro Grow LED 300 W - 96 x 3W - 300 $
2 x Cooler master 125x25mm fans for the lamp - 75$ (It was so noisy, now it says nothing)
125W CFL with a E40 socket - Free, (Some left overs from a friend)
1 x 300W kitchen exhaust fan motor - Free, (I peeled, an old kitchen exhaust)
1 x exhausto potentiometer - Free (My friend had one he didnt used)
2 x foil exhaust flex tubes with those 2 plastic mounting pieces - 15 $
All wood, and the plexi acryl window had cost me 200 $ max.

I am an electrician, so when I take old materials down, some of it I can re use in my grow box. So that helps keeping the cost low at electric parts.

First we tried some old Diesel ryders, but they dried out in the soil.
I have started out with some unknown normal 50/50 seeds of Blue Mystic.
They had some heat problems the first week, it got up to 35 C inside the box when i was at work. So we fixed it with the kitchen exhaust fan and a potentiometer. It was still hard to controle the air intake, and at night the hum. got up to 80%, so i fixed it by making those foil flex tubes with the white plastic pieces in the front.

And as you can see I have mounted a nice plexi acryl window in the side, with a rubber strip for sealing.
When they start to smell I hope a carbon filter inside the box at the exhaust fan, and outside the box, where the exhaust fan blows out can take all the smell.

Im going to move the CFL 15-20 cm up to day, and they will all get 800-1100ml pH - 6, fertilizer neutral water tomorrow.

My soil is 50% Danish Spagnum, 25% Perlite, 25% leca. There's some worm mix in the Soil. Im attending to fertilize with Bat guano when they go to flowering stage inside the same growbox.

All the pics in this post are from today. I have raised the light about 10-15cm, and i will do the same with the CFL by the evening.
Any advise about my thickest and biggest one may be a male. I know its quite early to determine, but it looks like a fucking nut wants to grow out.

looking at the pics its a bit too earl to sex them thay look nice well plants good job on what you doing

Thank you. I was very close to throw them out at an age of 1.5-2 weeks because they were so misshaped, and not higher than 5-8 cm. As you can see in the second pic in my post with todays pics, its quite a fucked up leave. All of them had leaves like it, so most of them i cut off before we transfered them to the big pots. I think they still got a bit of heat stress left. Its hard to say, im still a newbie in growing, this is my first real project. But some of them still makes some funny leaves, and of them have even made two tops.
