Nah. Crawling in bed. Started school yesterday so been busy. And I had a race tonight so I'm hella tired. Got 1st place though.

Ok. If you read the first bit you saw my cabinet I built. That is about where this stopped. Since it was a for fun thing anyways it wasn't a priority and since I started tech school the week after I built that cabinet it's priority went down.

Now it's getting winter time so my local air temps are going way down so I can have a light on all I want without my indoor temp going over 100*. Also low and behold a buddy of my who I haven't seen in a while asked if I wanted some seeds..... DUH. Hell yeah. Bag seed basically so no idea what they are but for a first grow I'm not really sure if I care.

So now I am going to start this project back up. Got to finish the wiring because I changed my mind about how I wanted it. Also the silly shiny plastic emergency blanket is coming out and is being replaced by some flat white paint so I don't have to worry about hotspots or stuff melting.

Right now I've got my light on and am doing a temperature test run to see how hot the light and cabinet are going to get.

Thats where it stands. Going to go get my paint and build my drip tray that I cut the wood for but never built about 4 months ago.

Any comments are appreciated.

No love? Got the cabinet painted. Lots better with just the white paint inside over the silly plastic "emergency blanket"

Thats one 70 watt HPS in a reflector hood. I'm thinking of rigging up 3 or 4 CFL's in the 6500k range to for supplemental light during the Veggy cycle.

Any thoughts on that?

Thank you. Gotta get the last of my stuff tomarrow and then I'll be in business. I started an official grow journal. This thread has just been me building this cabinet which I started in JUNE! Crazy how time flies by.

Nice man, this cabinet reminds me of mine. Mine is a bit smaller, 24" wide and only 15" deep, but it is 6 feet tall so I think i'm going to half it and have a clone/mother chamber on top and flowering chamber on bottom.

I've got a 250w HPS for flowering now and do 4 15-20" plants and pull about 3-4 oz's every 3 months. I'm thinking about going true SOG and doing up to 15 or so plants in my space and I think I can actually pull more if done right (testing it right now). You might wanna think about doing something like that, just a thought.
