My GrowLab Gl40 tent setup. I Need to buy a sound muffler for the inline fan cause its so fucking loud you don't understand it. I need this to be as stealth as possible. The CFL produces little heat but is soo bright. The size of the tent is 1'4"x1'4"x3'11". What do you guys think? Should I do anything else to it?

you dont even KNOW what loud IS boy. my 750 CFM fan in an 8 inch tube..... it creates turbulance going around the corner in the pipe, it LITERALLY sounds like a Jet taking off. easily 90 DB Standing beside it....

#1: just get a couple extra towles and and a bunch of Duct tape and goto work on the fan/ wrap teh whole thing in towels and Duct tape..... its surprising how much of the sound is muffled.
#2 there should be as LITTLE wireing as possible inside the went. wires take up space and produce heat... 2 things you dont want.

other than that it should be good :)

Nice tent, however if it were me I would change that fan out for something a little less quiet and, big...

Id get (1) PC fan if i were you, 70-90 cfm, and pop it in the top exhaust hole. Works fine and works wonders.

I have a 75CFM pc fan that has cooled my 250 and numerous T5s over the time in my DR120W tent. Keep temps ranging from 78-82 depending on the ambient temp.

It was about $12, invest in one. Either that or a fan speed controller for $20. Both work.

Like said, that isnt loud lol. Try having a couple of 6-10" inline fans, lol.

i would say this too. for a 1.5x1.5 tent 60 CFM is MORE than enough to exaust. my 2x4x3 Cab uses a 65 CFM fan and it grows like a champ.

Mmmhmm, there ya go!

And like said, you need to get those wires out of there. There in a small port hole in one of the top corners, pull and run your wires through there. Now is the time to be ocd and get everything up to par. Better to get it all done right and effectively the first time that hassling yourself and the plants later on.

the inline fan im using right now is 75CFM and I tested it out with my lights on for 18 hours there was very little heat in the tent. It was about 16-19 degrees Celsius in the tent after 16 hours (my room is about 15degrees Celsius canadian weather...). Whats a good cheap fan controller I can purchase in Canada?

SORRY THE ATTACHED IMAGES WAS THE TENT BEFORE I CLEANED UP THE WIRES. PLEASE CHECK AT THE PHOTOS ABOVE IT!

Since the tent is in my room when I sleep that noise annoys me and I'm a bit of an insomniac.

Lol, im not sure. You would have to research that one there bud.

Call some local grow stores and see what they have. Check online.

HTGSupply, not sure if they ship to Canada however.

Check electronics stores for PC fans too. You can also check salvation stores.
