My girl's are dying :(

i have taken off the dead leaves as in gone from yellow to light brown and crispy' im abit worryd about my temps as they are climing up to 85f and i have to pull the light about 30'' from the plant's to keep the temps stable with a fan blowing between the light and top of plants and i thought it should be around 18'' maybe i should install another intake fan i have sum 10'' pc fans here that move over 250cfm would they be ok to use, what also bothers me is i put the girls to sleep at 8 am in the morning and where i am its really cold in the mornings and warmer at night so when my lights go off the temps drop fast! should i turn my intake fans off when they sleep keeping only the outtake on as it gets cold in the mornings, or would my best bet be just shutting all windows and not turning off the intake thanks in advance

I had the same thing happen when I first started with hydro. I cut down with nutrients and cut off the dead leaves and all turned out fine. Good luck
im starting to really give up on these cuttings allmost 3 weeks vegging and still no signs of roots ill give them till week 4 if i still see no roots im going to feed them bleech then stick them in the microwave. the guy who i got everything off seems like a con artist with no idea how to grow anything, everything he told me to do iv learnt from here not to do ! sorry for the grumpy post just these plants are really getting me down

flushing with water for a few days only helped alot.. i threw it away after 4 flushes and it recovered.. btw my plants were a shit load worse than yours.
hi deza my plants are all starting to twist and go deformd looking and have very stunted growth, i love your setup i like your video update idea i think ill do that as i can say and show alot more in a video im not to sure the best way to flush rockwool but ill give it another flush tomorrow how much did you pay for the cooltube in the video and i cant get over how you got a 35 year old seed to grow tht's propper 70's weed , shit that seed should of had an afro and sideburns ... all the best greenlip

Also man your all over the place.....the poor babies!! Transplanting, overfeeding, ph up, ph down, overdosing...........
I suggest running straight ph balanced water for awhile. Leave them alone for at least a week to recover from all the stress they been put under. It is a living thing it can not heal itself overnight and you wont see any positive growth until she heals but it doesnt seem like your giving them time to heal before your fixing something else.
They really are resilant plants I mean they grow in nature facing mother nature, animals, bugs, etc for 100's of years but damn if humans can not cause some hurt on things!!!
In vegging stage they dont need that much light, I have run t5's 36 inchs over young'ins with good results.
I would get the water right and do a resv change and make sure they stay cool and just leave them to do their thing for a week or 10 days or so. They need some recovery!!

I am confused, do you have roots or no roots?? It makes a big difference on how to care from them...........
i have been feeding them nothing but ph'd 5.8 water for over a week i dont have them in hydro yet they are still in the rockwool i was going to kill them an start over , just stessd due to my f***ing everything up there is alot of confusion,
here so i will make a video tomorrow showing where im at and how im growing as for roots iv seen none yet the 2'' rockwool had roots then i was told to put them in (dry) 5'' rockwool just damp it abit and this was coming from a guy who has ownd a hydro store for over 10 years i now know i should of pre soak'd them for at least 24 hours and im using tinfoil on top of the rockwool due to the tops going green as for a 400 watt hps dual light i was thinking this was abit much for such a young plant but again was told this is what i need by the store guy its a dual ballest that can sitch from 400 to 600 watt's is this to much for this stage of growth anyway like i said ill upload a video tomorrow to explain better

Yeah I had alot of twisted droopy death starting from the bottom and my plants were shrinking one by one on me. A good flush to get the salts out of the soil and they seem to be recovering. In only a day they are bouncing back.

that old 70s unknown i threw outside is still alive.. still in its rockwool cube and hydroton just been feeding it water twice a week and it still wont die... im like .. 'DIE DAMMNIT' and it refuses.. has to be a russian blood. lol

back on topic.. just flush it with distilled water only.. flood it drain it, flood it again etc..
dont give up.. they are survivor plants with good tlc.

I have to agree calm down and just let them be. plain ph balanced water for at least a week.

I dont understand how you took them out of the 2 inch cubes and put them in 5 inch cubes without ripping the old roots out. If you did that then they are extremly stressed and you should not expect to see any growth for at least 2 weeks.i have been feeding them nothing but ph'd 5.8 water for over a week i dont have them in hydro yet they are still in the rockwool i was going to kill them an start over , just stessd due to my f***ing everything up there is alot of confusion,

Just plain ph water and foliage spray them. As long as they dont die your doing good with no visible change for awhile. Roots take longer to get thru 5 inchs then 2 inchs, ya know???
If they dont die they are doing something........just give them some tlc and time!
