thanks a lot, i can't wait to see how my next grow goes, with a little experience under my belt... i just planted them and set them up in a tank while my ladies are still flowering, put them under two flourescent tubes, should work well.

Well you are quite the accomplished grower i would say. your skills could defiantely be utilized by a dispenary(medical marijuana provider) or even for med card holders looking for a grower.

you have some chops itb for sure

So i've got some bad news that may turn out to be good news, sorry if that sounds weird its 630 in the am and im tired...Anyway i was checking my girls around 3 this morning and i saw that on one of them those f-ing spider mites were back. I didn't want to keep fighting them off so i decided it was harvest time for the lovely lady... All went well, took about two hours cause i had to take so many leaves off that had beautiful trichs on em. Anyways i'm putting some pictures up of the harvest it was around 150 grams wet, so i think it'll be 25% of that if i remember correctly...?

Heres the bad part...if those spider mites are in the bud, it doesnt seem they really are, what will happen and when will i notice it happening? will they still go after the bud even though its cut off? I sprayed it a little bit to try to kill/nock them off. Hope it works, wish me luck everyone.

On a less serious note i still saved all the leaves i cut off to make some hash, they are def where most of the mites were, should i just chuck em, or let them dry and still use them? I put them in a brown bag and shook it around a bunch to try and kill them..

thanks, im anxious too, haha...heres some pics of my grow room...its about 3' wide x 3' long x 5-6' high. i have 4 27 watt cfls on the lower half and 5 42 watt/ 6 27 watt up top...
Those lights are way too far away from those plants. You need to drop those things down to no more than 3in away from the buds. Fuck it if a few leaves gets burnt in the process. The added intensity is worth the loss of leaves to the buds. My humble opinion.

Realized you already harvested. Keep the leaves and make some killer hash with it. Fuck those little bugs, they will eventually die off during the curing process.

Thanks samurai, i actually added some more lights a few days ago and propped that smallest one up on a bucket. It was hard to keep them that low because the arrangement of my plants and how they were different heights, now that theres only two in there it should be easier.

So the bugs will definatley die? thats good to know, even if their in in the bud?

Your plants look amazing. Your first grow makes me feel better about my first grow.

I'm not sure about treating those spider mites since your plants are so far along. When in veg I use a drop of dish soap mixed with water to spray them down with and dump some in the soil as well.

I used a tobacco tea last week to kill thrips on my budding plant, but it isn't anywhere near as far along as your plants are so there will be time for the nicotine to wear away.

Try going to the organic section and reading around there. I bet those organic growers have some kind of safe remedy.

Also as far as harvest, look up a thread called "amber alert - a harvesting guide". It's probably the best harvest guide you'll find. It even has pics.

Once again, beautiful plants. Congrats.

You could try a water cure next time and drown those little bastards. Read up on water curing vs dry cure. Great for de-bugging, getting rid of chems and green.
