My girls aint growing worth sht in FFOF but my other girls in different soil are ????

The girls in FFOF aren't growing worth shit. They been the same size pretty much for the past 5days Id say even before that they really havent grown. They were born July 22nd and they were living in jiffy cubes for about 7-8days then tossed into FFOF. The other ones -20- I tossed in some reg organic 1.99 top soil with 30% perlite

The 1.99 soil girls look awesome and have not had a single burn on them at all. There big and healthy. All my FFOF girls are not growing and if they do its probably every 4-5days a tiny bit though.....

Any advice would be appreciated

Man I just spent over 300bucks on that FFOF and I know in about another 7-10days there really start growing since I hear FFOF isnt made for the girls till after day 17-20 "Sex"

I just feel like im stunting there growth and losing yields ........ What do you guys think

Ffof rules! Dont dis the fox

Is your soil soaked? Do you have proper drainage?

pictures are best in comparison but it's not the soil.....I'd say review your water cycle (how often), ph count (of everything going in 6.2-6.5 ph), drainage. ffof drains better then most soils, a good trait for this plant.

I'm growing in FFOF in 2/3 of the hole and roots organic in the top 1/3 of the hole.I started as clones but I got them started under a flourescent light for almost 6 weeks, they wer about 16-18" tall when i planted them.They are between 3'& 4' tall and up to almost 5' wide. I started them on b-1 , fox farms grow big,schultz super thive, With a few doses of big bloom to avoid nute lock-up. They have all started to bud as of today, some started last week. I am now feeding big bloom,worm tea,molasses with a dose of tiger bloom occaisionly.

FFOF is good. I mix it 2:1 with FF light warrior to help drainage. Maby you are overwatering and the cheap soil is not affected because of the perlite added? I would try adding some microzhi bacteria (great white is good and cost effective) and wait untill the soil is almost completely dry an inch below the surface before you water each time. I have also seen complaints about ff being salty so maby a flush is in order. goodluck. If you post some pics it would really help everyone to help you.

Ill try to get some pics up asap , I just did check the water level of the girls by picking them up and they were light so I just watered them till water came out the holes. As for PH , I have to get a meter since my $200 Hanna probe was broken when I bought it

As for PPM , that is something im really curious about as well since I just watered them and Id like to see what there really shooting for right now " Nutes or Water "

They are all AUTOS since I forgot to mention .........

Ocean Forest is good soil, but it is LOADED with fertilizers. These are organically sourced, but they are still fertilizers and in quite hefty amounts. Seedlings simply don't require these kind of nutrients for several weeks; they really don't need any at all for a couple of weeks.
It seems like some people routinely start seeds straight into FFOF and don't appear to suffer nutrient burn. Some strains are likely more tolerant of it. But, I personally have had seedlings suffer from burns and die in Ocean Forest + coco coir. If this is happening to you as well then I highly suggest starting your seeds in a soil-less mix like Black Gold or Sunshine (same company makes both products). You could even mix a little ocean forest into the soil-less mix, something like three parts soil-less to one part FFOF. Start them in plastic beer-cups (with holes drilled for drainage) so they can grow several inches, having about five to six sets of true leaves before transplanting them into just Ocean Forest.

I lol @ all the people scared to put seedlings in FFOF. I've done seeds and clones right off the bat with 100 different strains straight into an UNMIXED FFOF and have had zero problems.

No extra perlite. No mixing in anything else. Too much ferts?? LOL!!

Water, lights and air are your issues. Of course this is MY opinion only. Do whatever floats your boat.

id check the ph of soil they sale 20$ soil meters at homedepot ph might be to high or low a simple adjustment might make your dirt good also you may want to call the company that made your dirt the might give you some kinda perk for saling you a bad batch ...

FFOF is full of organic fert ! Hey AUg If u had added that 30% of perlite to the FFOF it would have done lots better . It needs more perlite for drainage it is also a very heavy soil it compacts badly for me straight .Do both soils dry out at the same rate or does the fox farm take longer?

Alright then ! FFOF is for organic growers who pack there soil with natural ammendments and natural nutes .And this is why so many people like it its ready to grow well almost. If u think it sucks because theres nutrient in it I would assume your a soiless grower ! Soiless growers dont want nutrient in there soil .
