My friend does not get visuals.

What? I'm serious though. I have seen him take the same acid Ive taken, the same mushrooms that I have eaten, and nothing. The most Ive ever got out of him was 'Eh, I guess the stars are moving a little bit.'. But then a couple of days ago, I gave him these mushies that my buddy fronts me, and they are powerful. I'm pretty sure they are P cubensis. I'll take a picture when I get another oz, what I have now is just one stem that weighs like 11 grams haha. Anyways, he freaked out. Went nuts. He kept saying, 'LET ME EAT THAT LOG!!' (referring to the huge mushroom I have), and I kept telling him like.. Man, one of these days your going to do that and its gonna knock you on your fuckin face. 'LET IT!' He said.

Well, he ended up eating maybe 2 grams, not even really.. And he went nuts. It was kind of funny. But the entire time, he said that there were no patterns, or colors, and his mind was just racing. He was convinced he needed medical attention. We had to hold him down so he didnt like.. It was just terrible. He was screaming and dry heaving saying he was gonna die xD
'I'm never gonna be sober again!'
'Tell everyone I love them!'

It was so dramatic. Lol.

Anyways, what? Does he not have a soul? Who the fuck doesnt see patterns! He's not crazy or anything, he's actually a really smart cool guy. But his brain.. Does something with psychedelics that.. Doesn't physically make sense. Or does it? Tell me!

This is true. Bewilders me though. Im not sure if I would like tripping if it weren't for the visuals. Well.. I probably still would.. The mind thing is.. Odd.
Im wondering what will happen if he takes like more than a quarter and goes through some physiological death shit or something. lol

Why would having a soul have anything to do with seeing hallucinated visuals during a psychedelic trip?

Who knows for sure if anyone even has one of those things to begin with?

I agree with Knight, everyone experiences their trip differently... or maybe he has just never ingested a high enough dose. One of my friends needs to take double the amount i take in order to trip as hard. But if your buddy can't handle the trip, i would advise him to stay away from taking a higher dose, lol!

Gah! im sure it sounds worse than it is. You gotta be a better friend when tripping. Tell him you cant die from mushrooms, how it will be over in a few hours and it happens to everyone all he needs to do is calm down. Give him a hug and rub his back rather than hold him down. If hes dry heaving from nothing in his stomach get him some water and something soft to eat so he can puke/sober up a bit. Remind him how much better it feels after you puke. If hes running a hot temp then help him into a cool shower and talk to him the entire time, try to take his mind off how bad he feels. Nothing makes me feel better than when my partner rubs my back and hands me water while im throwing up a rainbow of colors.

In my mind if you arnt willing to do any of the above while tripping with someone, then you need to stop tripping with them.

Lol, I was joking strife. Love that guy.

Your right though, thats why I am so worried for him. Then his girlfriend was all worried saying like, 'Maybe he does need to go to the hospital!'. I had to sit her down and explain to her that IF he were to go, they would more than likely sedate him to sleep, or whatever. And then he'd wake up, and they would tell him nothing except, 'you freaked out of mushrooms.'. He was fine, and on new years I went through what he went through, except I lost consciousness. The way he was dry heaving is what I did, until my nerves turned off.
He did say while we were on LSD one time that he could see how the TV worked. Which, I'm sure youve seen that before. If not, take psychedelics and look at a TV. Like really look. While your peaking, and while its on. You'll see it. Strange.

Maybe he does just need a higher dosage. But I think hes more comfortable with LSD xD

Sounds like a bad trip, lol.

I remember eating some high psycybin mushies and tripped out, most confusing hirrifying night of my life, I was completely gone, I knew that if I feel a sleep I'd wake up, but at the same time I thought sleeping was death itself.

Pretty scary trip, I agree things like this need to happen, but it can really change the way you think, I haven't gone a day without thinking of my bad trip, that I know of..

Bad trips are crazy.. That same night I actually started to have one. Friends askin me why I was so quiet. I was thinking 'Am I going to die?' Why does that happen?! lol, I always know better, but it fucks your mind so much, I just never know. He was saying that though, over and over actually, forgot to mention 'I'm gonna wake up dead tomorrow!' 'This shit is scary, I think Im gonna wake up dead!'

What was your bad trip like?

I had a buddy that didnt get visuals and this one nite we were doin baloons dosed on mushies and we realized he got super strong audio effects. Like i would describe what i saw and he said he got the same effect but audibly.

What happened exactly, and how much did you smoke?

Extreme, thats so strange. Ive only had auditory hallucinations twice.. And both times I went.. To far.. Lol
Aside from DMT that is.

The few times i get visuals on mushrooms its been when i blend up the mushies into a powder and stirred it into OJ. I believe it happens becuase the mushrooms in powder take way less time to get into your system (very fast come up, 15-20minutes till you hit full force), so all 3.5grams of mushrooms get into my system right away and give me enough to get some visuals, rather than some chewed up ones that take a hour to get into me and get converted at a slower rate if that makes sense. Thats my theory though and im sure it all just comes down to certain alkaloids or whatever react different with every person. The few times ive had visuals though its some type of pattern that lays out over everything. One time me and my partner were both walking outside and we both started talking about how we were both seeing a square net layering over everything. Odd that its always shapes with flat sides though.
