83 degrees is fine, just dont go above 90 degrees. Mg soil is fine especially since this is your first grow. it basically does the work for you... just follow my advice with the watering and you'll be fine. my first indoor grow was almost exactly like yours, cfls and floros with mg soil. I got damn near a qp off of one plant so i know you will do fine from experiance..

awesome man, glad to hear your temp dropped, that should bring your humidity up a bit also..... figured the pic would give you some inspiration...lol....remember the more wattage the better.....I think i had almost 600 watts of floro and cfl power.....:peace:bongsmilie

You shouldn't even put plants under lights until you are sure that they are properly secured. Just my 2 cents. I hope the injured recover, I'm sure they will

no it was secure but the fan blowing on the tape holding it made it fall but either way they dont seem to be doing to bad besides one fan leaf seems pretty bent.

ok i got a question because im haveing a hard time figureing out how much sq/ft im working in to see my lumens output..
so the closet itself is about 2x6 but im not using the whole thing. as you can see from the pictures and discription its 2x4' fluo tube holders so im really only in an area of about 1x4. what numbers should i use to figure out how much sq/ft pur lumen im using?

Lumens are light rating, have nothing to do with your square footage. I would say get the CFL's or Fluros with the highest lumens and do what you can with them.

Since you are on a budget with this particular grow, just do the best with what you got. Right now I'm growing 2 seedlings into Veg with 1 single 24" fluro natural sunlight. So far no problems! I for one didn't want to spend tons of money on a 4ft light and also didn't want to take up lots of space with it either.

Best of luck buddy!:leaf:

i guess i really ment to say lumens pur sq/ft...(was stoned when i wrote that i knew it didnt sound right :P) anyway i decided to go 12/12 weather fluos will give me quality buds or not(im hoping something)
based on recent pics, would i be good adding about 4 23 watt cfls to help get bigger buds?
