My First True LST

Been a while...anyways I feel I've taken in enough knowledge and now I'm a few weeks into my first attempt at a true LST. I've done multiple 1 tie down plants, getting maybe another top or 2, but this is my first try at a big LST'd girl. My goal is to have it span my entire 3x3 box once it finishes the stretch of flower. I may attempt a SCROG once i do the flip, I havn't decided yet. I'm running one 150w HPS, which will change to 2 once my girl gets big enough. I'll be using this thread for periodic updates and questions I might have for the veterans. Here she is, the strain is CH9 Jack. I'm happy with the "so far" even canopy, besides the one i just tied down of course

Well here some updated pics. Got her transplanted maybe 3 days ago and another tie down. Thinking in a few days i'll tie down again, put the screen in place, and make the switch.

If ur tryin to scrog u shoulda topped and picked 4 branches to.lst and tie down...left one is one plant that i topped and picked 4 branches to lst

Are you just saying that's more effective for a scrog? I figured I wanted as many tops as possible

Well ya u top it and the 4 branches filled in with tons of growth it also allows u to spread ur plant open

Heres and update a few days in to flower (showing preflowers). I decided I'm just going to LST all the way and forget the screen for now. I also added my 2nd 150 HPS for flower and she's lovin it! I think she may end up being to big for my box but we'll see.

So, I'm wondering if anyone would like to take a stab at what I might yeild. I know theres no way of really knowing, but I've only grown plants on the smaller side and have no idea what to expect from a plant this size so any info would be good. I'll probably need to get more jars. Comments and feedback always welcome =)

Can never really guess yield my first grow i.pulled 6oz off 4 1 gal plants....this grow i need over a pound

I was hoping for at least 4oz, am I being unrealistic? I got 2.5oz off a Jamaican dream I tied down once and topped once, and this girls certainly bigger.....idk

Nice job dude. I'm currently flowering some girls that were my first attempt at lst. I think I'll be doing it to one degree of another every grow now, so great seeing them exploit the space fully. :-)

How long did you veg?
Here's a pic of my last one, that covered my 2x2 area, and I got right at 2 3/4 oz. dry and cured from her.

So, im just accepting the fact i'm gonna have to find some way to make my box larger to fit this girl. I'm just happy that I'm seeing some buds form now, was getting worried about the stretch. Enjoy the pics.
