This is my first grow and I just have a few questions and would really appreciate some feedback. I'm currently growing an autofem northern lights seed in a 5 gallon space bucket system I made. My first question being does the first picture look like it is starting to flower and if it is starting to flower how much and how often should I be watering? My second question being does the second picture of the bottom set of leaves look normal or ok? And if not what do you guys think I need to do in order to correct it? Thank you in advance for all of your feedback.20210627_072611.jpg

Starting to flower, yes. Hard to diagnose any issue with purple light. Always post pics with natural light.
Second picture, the yellow leaves look like the first set of blades that show after the cotyledon. If the growth after that, and the new growth look healthy, then I wouldn't worry about it.
Post pics from a little farther out so we can see the whole plant.
Water when the plant needs it. When you water, saturate the soil with some runoff. Don't water again until the pot lightens up. Don't let it go bone dry, but it should lighten up significantly.

It is in fox farms strawberry fields soil and I've been watering it everyday around 7 am to 8 am until about a week ago when I started watering it every other day semi-heavily cuz my friend said the yellow could be root rot. I haven't fed it any nutrients tbh.

The soil must have a lot of nutrients in it...judging by leaf color and nute burn leaf tips. When you water, completely saturate the soil. Then, wait until the pot is significantly lighter before you water again...not bone dry, but significantly lighter. This might mean watering less often than every other day.

Ok so basically don't lightly water the soil anymore? Water it until it is draining? And then wait until the 5 gallon bucket is a bit lighter but not bone dry to water it again? Just asking because I've been lightly watering the soil trying not to over water and cause root rot and basically just been winging it since the beginning. Basically since it popped out of the soil originally. I would water everyday around 7-8am and then the next day it would almost be completely dry when I stuck my finger in and I would water more at the same time and I've just been tweaking it since. But I've always stuck to low amounts of water to try not to overwater.

Better to water heavily and less frequently than lightly and more frequently.

The roots need to dry out a little between watering.
