My first time DIY grow cab

As a first time grower I decided to give hydroponics a try. Probably a dumb move on my part for my lack of experience but the pros outweigh the cons.

I started with whatever I could find around my house. Figured I was gonna dish out more then I should on everything so cut costs where I could. I searched up various tutorials and hours of youtube videos and put together my Diy cabinet.

I have Lights, fans, mylar blankets coming today. Ill update after I install.

Im still in need of seeds because my bagseed not looking to good right now. Anyone know a trusted seller?

I like your setup man, looking good
I usually order my beans from Nirvana, basically because I had good experience with them in the past and also they have reasonable prices
but there are alot of other good sellers, search around the forum I'm sure you will find the one for you

by the way, what kind of lights are you using for this one?

I like getting my seeds from Herbies. So do many others.
Are you going 12/12 from seed? It'll be pretty rough fitting 4 plants in that one bucket.

Update.....

So here it is.
I'm going to add more features as I go or as my budget allows. Dooooda, its 150 hps and Reemis, I been doing 18/6 and will probably select the best looking girls then plant the rest outside. I have 5 going with 2 in hydro and 3 in soil. Thanks for the replys any advice on what I could be doing better is appreciated.
Here's the pics.

the absolute cheapest and easiest hydro set up is a hempy bucket. And it needs no pumps/res changing etc. so freaking simple. But i guess its too late for that advice. GL man !

Update....
Not sure what im doing wrong. Im going to redo my reservoir water. Ive been keeping ph close to 5.9.
As you can see the soil plants look good and full of life but the hydro plants look kinda droopy with a lighter color.
Any ideas?

xilw3r - Ill have to google that hempy bucket.

What is the water level in the res? Have your roots came out of the net pots?

Yes the roots are just starting to come out and the water level I keep near top. I made the foam cover thick enough so only about 1/3 of the bottom is exposed. I probably did damage to them when I transplanted them from soil to water as there starting to look a little better now.

I transplanted another 2 over to water and left one in soil. My reservoir tank got cleaned and I added 7.5 ml of micro then 15 ml bloom for my 2 gal tank. My PH is reading 5.63. My plants also sit 22" below the light.

And heres the pics.

Update!

2 weeks in and everythings green so far. Bumping with some pics.
here you can see visual proof of hydro being better than soil
next time ill do hydro awesome dude 2 weeks and you plants have thick stem try to get more intensive fan so you get even thicker stem which will gives you better yield also try some vertical cfls during flowering or just switch from 65k to 27k cfl or even better get some 11band led panel
