My First Real Grow

Ok so My first attempt was basically a trial thing with bagseed. I really learned a lot from various books, this site, and a couple grow videos. I am using a grow cabinet. In the cabinet I built an exhaust and a fan inside the top of the cabinet. I have four CFL's inside. Two are 150 equivalent (42 watt) soft white. The other two are 100 equivalent (23 watt) bright light. I am currently germing in a paper towel 4 hindu kush seeds and 5 original haze seeds. I will post pictures in a few days.

I germinated 5 original haze seeds and four of my hindu kush seeds. Some of them were showing the initial root coming out of the seed, but I had to plant them all because I had to leave for a few days. Each seed is in its own individual rockwool cube. Each rockwool cube is in a ziplock bag to help germinate more and add some humidity. So far so good, no sprouting yet, but it hasn't even been 24 hours. New update in a few days. Please feel free to let me know what I am doing right and what I am doing wrong. I put a lot of time and money into trying to grow, and I am looking forward to smoking my own bud in 3 months.

Well some good and bad news. I planted some of my seeds to early, before they could germinate, and obviously did not grow. Out of my original 9 seeds, 3 of my original haze seeds germed. I am currently germinating the hindu kush seeds that did not germ from before and some leftover bagseed. Here are some pictures of my set-up and 3 haze seedlings.

Ok so one week later and I have three healthy original haze seedlings and a few two day old bag seeds. When would it be good to transplant the rockwool cubes into larger pots? I am germing some of my remaining hindu kush seeds if they actually germ.

So I moved my rockwool cubes into larger containers. The soil I have chosen is 3 parts organic soil, and one part vermiculite. I water every 2/3 days, depending on what my moisture meter tells me. I also like to spray the cabinet as well as the leaves on the plants. Today, I watered the plants with a teaspoon of Fox Farms Grow Big Formula in a half gallon of distilled purified water. I have about 18,600 lumens in my box. Temperature ranges from 68 at night no light, to about 82 at the hottest. I boosted up the plants so they are about 2-3 inches away from the CFLs. I talked to the guy I get my bud from, he said that the stuff I get is poorly cared for and maintained northern lights...hopefully i can use the seeds and bring it back. 3- Haze 3- Crappy NL 2- Germinating Kush
