DAMN!! my man havent seen your girls in a while, they look GREAT! your a lucky S.O.B
well, it was 11pm lolgreenhouse is 75 degrees right now outside it is about 68. so im doing something right )
why do u want more heat? isnt it like 100 degrees there?mine gets zero moisture inside. not even on the plastic. just the outside and under the plastic on the floor. but not inside. and using screen for the whole thing wont be good, the reason for a green house is to help keep temps in and up as well as humidity but it still needs to breathe. maybe put some square patches like i did with window screen. just cut a square 4x4 inch hole a few places and stitch with some twist ties the screen over. works perfect for breathing and lets the excess moisture escape.
you dont want it 100% sealed more like 95% to let excess heat and moisture out. but you want to keep the bugs out as well. so mine is 100% sealed up except with the two 4x4 inch square screen holes. one on top for heat and one on the bottom side to bring in cool air.
works prefect. when i need to feed or water i just poke a funnel with a lil hose attached and place in each pot and water. dont even have to go inside anymore so i can keep it sealed better and go in only when i need to. its not hard to unseal it.but opening the "doors" makes all the heat escape and i dont want that.
ya im curious about that too Andrew.. I seen the reasoning in the cooler months.. but does it do anything to help when its a 100 outside already? I have no outdoor knowledge so fill me in !why do u want more heat? isnt it like 100 degrees there?
100 is too high man. should be like 85 max. the higher the temp, the more water they have to sweat off. the sprinklers would be a problem with window screen though.well im talking about at night time mostly. having it sealed up with the 8 square inches of screen for vent keeps the heat vented and constant under 100 at the sunniest part of the day. and if it gets too hot i can undo part of the door on the side and have it vent even more.
but its mostly for controlling the climate inside just like indoors. i know too much heat is bad but i believe so far i dont have an excess of heat. at night time its pretty warm inside compared to the ambient temp around. mostly did this to keep the bastards from eating all the leaves! cuz i wont be able to neem em cuz they are covered in trichomes now.
my greenhouse i think is as perfect of a climate i can get with what i have. im not good at outdoors never have been but now that i have great genetics and great soil things are good.
i made it to to double as a grow house for tomatos in the winter and bell peppers.have half the thing filled with veggies in the dead of winter here.
another benefit to me having this now is i can keep my plants in the middle of the yard where the morning and daytime sun hit them for most of the sun light hours. i have automatic sprinklers for my back yard that come on 3 times a day so before each day i would move them all over the yard to avoid being watered on 3 times daily. so it keeps them sheltered and from the wind and rain 2.
im real pleased so far. in fact i probably will make a few more! make my yard look like a camp with greenhouses lol.
only thing i need to do now is copy my doctor note and laminate it post it by my greenhouse so anyone who stumbles upon it can see im not breaking the law.
lets see a pic of the one with airy buds. does that plant get the least amount of sun? that could be the problem too. or genetics, if its the only one of that strainTWS should of called me lol! So my phone broke today and i had to go get a new droid cost me 300 dollors! Wow i really need to start saving money. It goes fast! I figured its a long term investment lol!
Anyways my G 13 looks real good i need to get the digitcal camera out for you guys. My step dad was sayen that the one plant has airy buds not super dense. What do you guys suggest feeding heavier?
