My First Medical "Closet": 400 Watt MH

ya who knows. u never kno what strain your going to get. i have atf in my grow right now. and its different then the atf at my work. but your leaves are way skinnier than any ive seen. ive had Green Crack from probably 5 different sources. and i just think the high is crap.. i mean it gives me ANXIETY badly. its the only sativa that does that to me. idk it really seems like green crack. the names perfect in my opinion. also the real green crack plant is VERY spindly. but ya good job man im only on my third grow. its in my sig u should check it out. also i just harvested my second grow under a 400w check it out if u get a chance id really appreciate it....

got the hps setup and timers set up just wainting for 1030 fo the light to kick on . they have been off since 1030 this morning. So 420 is the first day of flowering.YA BOY. U guys want pics of them under the hps?

Happy 420 everybody hope you all got as medicated as i. Well i flipped to the 400 watt hps and 12/12. The ladies just woke up and i flushed them pretty good. In a couple days i will start feeding bloom nutes. So here goes a pic of them under the MH light for the last time. And then pics of them under the hps. That color is gonna take some time to get used to. Also i guess i am going to just flower the two little ones right now as well and see what happes.i pray the seedling is a girl. How long shuould it be before sex starts to show? Like 2 weeks right? i NEVER GOT ARound to transplanting either. I need to do that asap. Should i wait for them to get into flowering first so i dont shock them or what?

don't worry about transplanting at this point (should be done while in veg) for thier size those pots are fine and once you flip to 12/12 the roots growth slows down so they won't use the bigger pot

ok so they should be okay in those pots without stunting their growth or becoming rootbound? Thats good to hear. I was wandaring if the hps produces less heat than the MH. It seems like my room temps stay alot lower and i can put the plants a little closer to the light. Or is this just because the lights is only on 12 hours a day?

Bumps for views and comments maybe. I hate this 12/12 shit. i wanna look at my girls. LOL.. o well. How long till some differences should be noticed? or should i say how long before they show sex? not expecting it overnite just curious because i got nothing better to do.

About a week for most plants. Some plants will show sex on 24/0, all depends on genetics (even some non-ruderalis aka auto-flowering). By week 3 the bud production should really take off and in my experiance most of the size is done near week 5-6. After that weeks 7-8 let the buds mature, the pistils start dying back, and the calyxs swell. (indica time line of course, sativa quite different)

thanks ... this part is nerwrecking i see. i keep look at stuff on the plants like o no this lloks like a dik. Lol. but they are all clones i just wanna makes sure the seedling is female and none of have herm in their genetics. i cant wait till buds steart showing. Also the mini AK is loving the HPS. Looks like she swelled up over night. I think shes pretty close to harvfest but not sure. I will try to get some pretty descent pics up asap. Thanks someguy ur advice ia alwaays appreciated. how they looking btw?

This seems to be the only one that has these or at least anything that looks too similar. They are only 3 days in 12/12 but i heard males show sex faster. Hear are a bunch of pics. Plz help me . Thanx in advance and +rep to all helpful posters.

took mine 5 days to show male, I would wait another day as most of what your showing is still very young, but yes keep an eye on pic one as it could be a boy

im so worried this is a male.. i hope its not i will be so pissed. its my biggest one. Did not notice any major differences today. but can somebody tell me how late is too late? I will chop it if i have too, i cant risk to lose my whole crop. Thanx

nothing to wory about they can't drop polen before they show, just relax and keep an eye on em

No worries yet, you have atleast 4-7 days AFTER they show sex before any pollen will be an issue. From those pictures it's def not certain yet so give it a minimum of 2 more days to be sure. From my experience generally my largest plant of a batch turns out male (I grow from seed) but growing from clone that would be very unfortunate.

Just get us some new pics as the "girl" progress's, believe me when these guys are sure they see a male they will be sure you know it and reccomend you get it outta there asap, your just a few days early IMO. Good luck!

Okay, thanks it just seeems like its the only one with those things, but yeah ima keep a close eye on it for sure and will keep you guys updated. Thanks sorry im worrying so bad.
