Thought i'd start a journal get the boards suggestions and opinions to help me along the way , strain is lowryder 2, ten planted 7 sprouted , under a 250 watt HPS light, soil mix with perlite , 18/6 timer, 16 inch fan to the side. Sprouted on the 17'th so this is them at day 5. Sorry about the low pic quality my camera sucks i'll try get a better one. My only worry at this point is they are a little streched but the light is only 9 inch's away.

well...yes the one I can see is getting a little stretched, not to worry, best thing I have seen for propping them up is skewers and bag ties. I find it best not to wait until they are leaning over to prop them up, and make sure your oscillating fan is 'gently' moving the air around the plants. This is the price you pay for using the hid's for seedlings. When the stem is strong enough to hold the plant up on its own you can remove the prop. VV

Yeah, I had the same problem with the Ak-48 I did last time, I tied them up to pensils and got the fan within 2 weeks I could remove it as the stems hardened up, I can't move the HPS any closer to them as it will burn them, the fan aint too strong just a nice gentle breeze at the min, it's pretty humit in their though.

Hey guy's!!...Overdue update here. Plants are now on day 33 and began flowering at about day 25 little late but hey. Two males removed from the garden leaving me with 3 confirmed females which are showing alot of white hair and one which has still lot flowered which is weird as it's day 33. Plants are about 6' high at the min and the 250 watt HPS is 8' inch's above them. Pics comign this evening.

Pics as promised, day 33 day 5 of flowering...how am i doing?opinions...suggestions?

Hi man,

No I don't I have a 16 inch fan to the side of the plants and HPS, if your wondering about the lines in pics it's the HPS interfering with my camera phone. Anyone wanna give me an opinion on how the plants look it's my first lowryder grow, I moved the HPS last night to 17 inch's from the plants tops they perked up a good bit think they were overheating.

Eh if possible I would invest in a can fan. Will keep it a lot cooler. The crop looks great man. You're doing excelent. Rember don't over feed them they dont like that.

This weeks update. Good growth 3 remaining females have been transfered over to 5 liter pots, transplant went fine no stress nd they've taken to the extra space growing an inch each since, flowers getting bigger, buds really starting to form up, added some extra ventalation which also helps p, and fed nutes last night half dose pics this evening. Smoke on...
