Forgot to mention........
A couple months ago, I trimmed off a couple lower branches, and just stuck them in a cup I had sitting around.
Been watering it, and leaving it under the light, and it's been staying alive, continuing to bud slowly, but a couple days ago, I noticed what looks like a piece of grass starting to grow in the cup too.:lol:feb26pic16_zpscf22af92.jpgfeb26pic15_zps4f2922f0.jpgfeb26pic17_zps52a6b590.jpg
 
hehe who knows maybe its from the roots and its starting to re-grow but i would wait for someone who knows what their talkin about though im just takin a guess bongsmilie
 
been tempted to chop any for smoke? gotta be a tough one knowing its oh so close wish i was in your boots.
 
Ya, I snuck a couple small buds a week and half ago, and was disappointed, but I was probably expecting too much, seeing as at the time I only had about 50% cloudy, and just did a quick dry.
Some of the buds are about 70% cloudy, but some still gave a ways to go yet.
I sure am getting impatient.:sad:
 
yeah i could def see the impatient part. wait til its all dried and cured i can see it being much tastier and potent.
my plant has made it to about 8 inches by 18 inches wide would like to wait another week before flip. get it up to about a foot tall.

Damn, I didn't take pics last night before I started chopping, didn't even think about it until just now.
Anyway, still have just a bit more on her to go yet, I'll probably finish tonight, but I discovered the double fold out magnifying glass I have been using isn't strong enough.
When I got out my 45-100 micro, I could see about 5% amber, so I decided to chop last night.:-P
So far wet weight is 120.7g of popcorn, a lot of that is big enough that I could have left it, but I decided to only save the bigger buds.
And 78.4g of the larger buds.

And after reading all that I have this past week, I just can't be sold on amber trich's being what we're after, but rather as close to 100% cludy as possible!
I panicked when I say a few clumps of amber on my Blue Widow haha. Straight panicked!

But what are you plants for drying them bossman? I got a nice blacked out area in my closet with a fan going and the temps about 77.
Be careful not too dry too fast so that you don't get that hey smell bro!
