My First Hydroponic Grow.

I've done a couple of grows before, in the completely wrong environment with no clue as to what i was doing but have given this one a proper go after plenty of research.
Heres the story so far.

I have a 1.5 x 1.5m tent, with a 600 watt light, a 150 diameter inline extractor fan with carbon filter (fan speed controller to soon come).

using a wilma 9 pot (big) with 18l pots and clay pebbles, using canna nutirents. either aqua or terra, the name slips my mind as i type this.

i have got the nutrients at doses recommended by Canna during the veg stage, keeping the Ph between 5.4 - 6.2.

I rinsed the pebbles off (highly recommend this) didn't soak them over night though just cleaned all the coating off and believe me a lot come off, suspect this would have causes problems for the pump in my system if i hadn't of done this.

I have 7 x sweet cheese (2 more cuttings are en route) and today marks the first week since i put them in, as soon as i received the cuttings i re-potted them straight into the big pots with no problems at all.

i have the watering system coming on for 15 mins every 2 hours when the light is off and every hour for 15 mins when the light is on.

currently on 18-6, will run this for 4 weeks depending on how tall they get (the wilma takes away a fair bit of height before you begin)

The humidity is pretty high peaking at 70% although i have no extractor fan on at the moment due to needing a fan speed controller due to noise. Currently suspended from the tent via cable ties but will be hanging it from bungey cords to stop vibration. I've read that humidity is good during the veg stage. Temperature gets a bit high at 35 Celsius and 20 lowest. but again, no fan and trust that will sort the issue.

Anyways, here are some photos. feel free to give any advice.

Hydroton will continue to break down and cause motor problems, if not pH as well

Apparently Walmart sells nylon footies in the women's dept. Put it over the pump

Get a better timer, see below, which you can stop down to 15 seconds. I water anywhere between 27-33 seconds (much of this is rez volume dependent) and pause ~ 45 minutes during lights on. While we want the roots to somewhat dry, we do not want them totally dry. More frequent feedings = explosive growth

i am a UK based grower, thanks for the info. Ill be clearing the res tank out soon as i noticed a lot of dust at the bottom.

it is a 110l res tank. ill up my feed times, perhaps every other 15 mins.

Was going to water 24/7 when flowering with maybe a couple hours off during lights off!

also the rate these are growing i was going to veg for 4 weeks (3more to go) but i have a feeling they may become too tall....

How comes one of my plants as only 3 leaves? and they are very thick/wide?

Leaves were looking a bit yellow, upped the nutes now as its been 9 days. Was holding up for my other 2 clones to arrive but they're taking long which is a big disappointment.

Now have a fan controller, so have the carbon filter running it has a temp prove and is keep the temperature at around 28 degrees perfectly with a low of 19 with lights out.

Humidity is no about 70% which isnt too bad, i have a de humidifier if needs be.
