I dried out all of my unwanted males in a cardboard box, whizzed them in a coffee grinder when they were bone dry just a little and then shook them in a jar with some nail polish remover strained it through a clean sock into a bowl and then waited until the nail polish remover had evaporated and then smoked about 3 grams of fairly weak resin, but still waste not want not:mrgreen::peace::joint:

hey nat and moon, i cut the males last night and have them hanging in the tool shed. i made some hash oil using the butane method, fell in love with it.

here we go again, i'm going to get the cfl's back out to veg some new plants, i'm going to put them in the closet i started in. bag seed again, i can't bring myself to pay for seeds. and i need to go to town to get a bag of fox farm soil.

as far as the one girl i have, she is looking good. been feeding 2 cups of ph balanced tiger bloom mix and 2 cups of molases mix every night. i have a hydrometer for soil and it drys out all the way in one day. that light drys them out quick:peace:

all is looking well, had to raise the light another 6" today. still feeding her 2 cups of the fox farm stuff and 2 cups of the molases mix, no sign of stress or burning. the seeds still haven't cracked yet. and i got a bag of happy frog soil to put them in once they do show up

do i need to let the males that i cut, dry all the way out before i make oil out of them?:peace:

hey folks, not much has changed. she's just getting taller. the fan leave stems are turning a purplish brown color. i'm thinking of cutting them off anyway, what's your thoughts about that? the rest of the plant is nice and green. the bottom fan leaves are turning yellow and dying, i've read that is normal.

hey heavy, what dome?:peace:

she's turning out to be a sweet young lady. i went ahead and cut some of the larger fan leaves down at the bottom.

i've got the seeds in some fox farms soil. waiting for them to break dirt. maybe 4 out of 4 females this time? i hope the ganja gods are smiling with me:peace:

not much differnce tonight, doesn't look like cutting the leaves hurt her any. having to raise the light a few inches every night. how much taller is this thing going to get? dead batterys in the cam, i'll post them after they charge up.

She's looking good kevin. I would love to see what you capture with your stop motion camera. Nice journal too. Keep it up!

as soon as i walked in the door today i could smell my girl growing, a real sweet minty smell.

after reading more on watering, i decided to try some store bought water. i'm glad i did. the ph measured 6.7 and it was olny 48 cents. no more trying to get the ph just right.

i also cut one of the lower branches to see if i couldn't get a clone. i scraped about 2" of the first skin on the stalk, put some root hormones on it then buried it about 4" in some fox farms happy frog soil that i got soaking wet. i put a one gallon milk jug over the top of it for a greenhouse effect.:peace:
