I forget what FIM is. I super cropped almost every branch on my cheese plant that's almaot done. I cut my scrog net out and it's holding up all the bud no problem.

Yeah, that's why I said pinch FIM and scrog.

And hey it doesnt matter where you veg, especially down the road, but when you flower you want your 1000W HPS in the center. I just crammed 9 plants in a 2x2 1/2 area for flower under a 400W, they'll manage haha ;)
I have 2 1ks for 15 3 gal pots..
Also breeze that was 3 nodes not including the two pellet leafs if you look closely..so once the forth 2 set of leaves start I should cut them off at the stem ?

Yea there's those pellet keaves and then even the keaves on top of those I don't count. Cause they just aren't real branches lol idk

Ok so from the bottom is the two pellet leafs.. Then 3 sets of 2 leaves..so really it is 3 nodes? Lmao when should I top them ? Six nodes i heard? Should I wait til after transplant.. I wanna get the most I can. Lol

From the bottom is the two pellet leaves just below another set of bullshit leaves that arent full fan leaves. Just forget it lol. Just top them when you see another node come up.

Your right it is a node. But when I told you I'd top after three nodes I wasn't including that bottom one. So just top it when there's 4 nodes

Fuck I Missed- FIM
Pinch FIM is a rough way of doing what both topping and supercropping does. It takes time to get the hang of it and be able to control how you pinch the top to get different results. I don't do it to all of my plants, just some strains. If I had done it to my animal cookies that is in flower, and trained it a bit, would have been great.

And doing a SCROG with a SCROG release is Great, its one of the best ways to maxamize the benefits of a SCROG. again for me that is strain dependent though. many people argue many points on these techniques, I just file the points away and apply them where they fit ;)

Yea I can see how some strains wouldn't do so well. I lost a mango plant from trying to pinch the top and fuck I missed lol. I think I crushed the new sprouts coming out under it idk. Tried to clone her off but none made it.

I undid my scrog and then took it off now towards the end of flower and tied some weight to a few branches to get the insides of the buds light

Seems like there's a million different things you can do during veg and some during flower to help things. I think if you understand how the plants grow and the rough outlook on how the canopy needs to be to get the most out of it etc etc, then you just can kinda figure out and guess the rest. She's gonna grow! Lol

Yup, got baked and was looking at this stretchy stringy (Girl scout cookies i think, or cherry pie, cant remember), any ways kept moving the light up and up it would stretch and stretch, not much fill and really stringy branches. so I got frustrated and kind of pushed them over, then was just like yeah, so I kind of half folded them over and left it over night, come back next morning to a nice flat canopy..... well the canopy regained its strength and started pulling back up to the light and i was like ok.... so I got baked and was looking at it and had a screw in my hand and was going to screw something.... but I was looking at this plant and didn't, ripped the bong and look up and... oh yeah I was going to screw the screw into the ceiling so I could hang this wire from it to move the fucking light up again, look back down at the plant, rip the bong again and realise that while packing and ripping the bong I just wound the wire around the screw and left it hanging on one of the branches- ChaChing! :) ... while I finished smoking the bongload i did it several more times and now the canopy stays even on that plant. Looking at the three other stretchy ones next to it, nah wont work with them. so I pinched their tops, and will just give them supports outside.... uhmmm there are pics of the plant in my journal....

So u guys suggest I top the 4th node ?where do I cut it ? How long does it take the plant to recover ? Should I do it before or after I transplant.. THX buddies

Yea I isually top when there are 4 nodes and cut above that one. Just cut the main stem right above a node but don't cut too close to it. Then 2 shoots will come out from the sides of that node. I would first transplant those then give them several days to recover and then top them. Just cause their soil and take a while to grow . She'll be good and strong and thriving then and will recover within a few days as the new shoots start to grow
