My First Grow

Help. Can any one PLEASE help me as I don't understand if this is normal or is there issomething wrong. Sorry for the lame Question pmsl.
Also feeding schedules, I have been using ph'ed between 6.0 & 6.7 (paper chart) water every day in the mornings only lightly, on the 3rd day ill use Nutrient either Formulex or P Magic which would you suggest I stick to. My setup is 600 HPs Dual Spectrum tent is 1/1/1.6 meters extract fan and 2 oscillation fan 1 up the top and the other fanning the canopy lol. on timer13/11. Week 2 the first plant and 5day the seeds. Id appreciate what eve help I can get thank you.

Sounds good, dont go to heavy at first on the nutrients. Either type is probably fine. I use regular miracle grow, but I am a newbie as well....

You shouldn't have to water everyday. You want to let your soil dry out before watering again that way your roots reach for water and grow. Not to mention drowning them in to much water can cause problems up to and including death.

Thanx for the advice m8, I recently bought 3 in 1 soil/light/ph tester. Aswell as a digital ph tester not realising i couldv'e used the 3 in 1 duhh(typical me). My humidity levels are around 25% to 30% is this to low?, i recently put a plastic square tub with water in there but not much higher. So this morning i've got it under the light more. But i'm thinking should a metal suacpan be more appropriate?. Also what distance do you recommend my light distance from my plant?, As my first main plant is about 4-5 inches high and the internodes are real close i have 1.6 meters in hight and i am not sure if it's to close. My seedlings(11 ov em) are just sprouting the 2nd set of main leaves. I've been trying to work out how to post pics of my pc, but no success only managed to post by mistake lol. But as soon as i do i'll add pic ok m8

Hang a towel from something with then end sitting in your pan of water. The water will wick up the towel and evaporate. Works even better with fan blowing on it.

20-30% Humidity is a little low, but you can find a humidifier for relatively cheap. Over 50% is where you want to be. You are using an HPS light, so your main concern will be heat. No plant can have too much light, but to much heat can be harmful. A good rule of thumb is to use your hand when positioning your light. Hold your hand under the light and if it's uncomfortable to you, it will be uncomfortable for your plant. You want the light as close as possible without it being to hot for your plants. So just use your hand and you will be fine.

Do you no any other cheaper ways to do this then other than mentioned, but then if i'm better of getting it then i'll have to. Are they load?, Also i can get lower than 24inches then?, Because i was thinking it would burn but i check it every 3-4hrs when lights on and it's growing nicely but bushy and short. My inline fan for my carbon ex fan broke so thas gone back was hoping the comp would've received it Sat so it's looking like the end of the week till a new 1 is sent out. Also do you have any advise on reducing noise from the inline extractor fan as it seems loud ish at quite times of the day and i no when my bud stats smelling i'm going to have to keep it on, So i must tackle this cheaply.

Hurah my humidity has gone up to 40%-50% so im happy and ill be putting a few pic of me digi cam today as i needs to get up close just to show you all what these 2 spikey whitish hairs are(just conformation really, being my first grow an all).

Hey Jim i lowered my light untill it weren't burning me and ill put a few pic's as i want to get the most out ov my Lamps, the towel seems to have done the trick for now. fingers crossed lol cheers m8

UPDATE 6.0 wk of flower and the buds are starting to SWELL LOVELY, So what can i expect the swell size 2 be as it must swell and grow a lot more if i understand this right that it needs to grow more for the THC to form as from what i see the new growth is form the crystals THC and the thinner pistols/hairs are slowly turning amber/red/orange(what eve the colour is for this strain. Would appreaciate what info advice or i can get on this also i think i have 2-3wks on the first 2MMJ and maybe 3-4weeks on the others so with this in mind when would one start the FLUSH (NOW DO I JUST RINSE WITH NORAML TAP WATER OR PH'D As i was told on another forum to start 3 weeks before harvest and not sure if this is correct ???
Also do i stick to 12/12 half way thru flowering or do i increase the night cycle(also what i was told to do) Would love to hear any thing one has knowledge of this or expearence as i'd love to hear THANX
