Hey guys been floating around this place for awhile and recently decided it was time to start one for my self. Here is a list of all my "stuff". It will be a soil grow under a 600w light. I Kind of think I know what im doing but im really hoping you guys can help me out! Ill be posting tons of pictures and updating every few days.

Barneys Farm Red Cherry Berry (10)Fem
Lowryder Blue Ryder (10)Fem
Buddha Seeds White Dwarf (5)Fem

just be sure not to overwater and no nutes until week 3 or 4, in my opinion. I'm new also, but killed my first seedlings by nuting on week 2. always start out at 1/4 the dosage is what I've found works for me, but then again, I'm using rockwool and expanded clay rather than soil.

Yea, I agree with DD, the soil already has some nutes in it so none are needed at this stage. To young still.

They are looking nice and healthy. They are going to take off now. What size/type contains are you going to move them to?
How tall are you going to let them get before flowering? What are your plans for them?

Sounds good. As I said, everything is looking nice, plants look healthy and soil looks good too. How close are the lights to the plants?
You don't want them to get to tall and they will want to get tall, especially starting from seed. So, one approach to consider is to let them get a bit larger and then top or FIM them, this will do a few things, it will slow them down a bit, it will cause them to branch out more and it will allow you some time to pre-sex them first, if that is something you want to do. If you have the space and cash then I also suggest transplanting soon (not yet), as the root mass will determine the plant shape & size. The roots search out first then the plant follows. I say WAY before the roots start to "wrap" is the best time, when there is a good healthy root mass to hold together the soil but before it gets to full.

Started running into some problems today. Some of the leaves are dropping down and I do believe I got a little nute burn on my pure gold. As far as the leaves turning down on some of the plants I believe its a watering issue. They are in one gallon pots and i think i just waited to long to water some of them. Here are some pics let me know what you think.

Pure Gold Pics (Possible Nute burn I think it was just a tad to early for nutes)

Power SKunk (I Think this is just a watering issue. I Water until it drained today after the pot was very light and dry)

OMG your plants were taking off pretty quick!!! I germinated and planted some seeds 3 weeks ago and there nowhere near that!!! But my big ones took off pretty fast too!!! But yea you shouldnt have used nutes at all this early!!! You're rushing it but thats common!!! Trust me wait another week or two for nutes!! The plants can't take it all in right now so basically the nutes sit on the plants but to prevent that spray with water to clean the plants off nutes!!! The soil should be able to feed them for the first month or so ((maybe longer))...

Solution::Let the soil get really really dry all the way through causing the plants to search for water which means the roots will double everytime you're close to a dry spell which is good then water!!! They'll absorb more nutes and water faster!!!! REALLY WORKS!!!! ((Roots hate being WET and COLD))

Thanks for the info! And I credit the growth on the soil mix cant beat fox farms and also there is a little Roots Organic mixed in with it. Ill post some more pics soon but most plants are between one and three weeks old.

looking pretty good! I made the mistake of using nutes at 2 weeks. even at a 1/2 strength solution, I burned them all and killed them. I took someone's advice and waited till week 4 and started with a 1/4 strength mix, and then bumped it up to 3/4 by week 5. I will go full strength next week at week 6, and so far so good! keep it up!
